There are a few, but they are hard to get now. XS 650 is a good one.

Oh yes, the two halves aren't sealed yet, waiting for some bolts etc.
What did I do wrong with the pic, How do you just insert it without the link?

Cheers, it's my first YPVS engine build and I started with just a set of damaged cases. It looks like this now, but with the top clutch bearing fitted.. 20190415_200138 wang

Are the nyloc nuts that hold down the YPVS cylinders flanged? and if so, are they serrated or smooth?

Likely to be the plastic cog on the end of the trip drum, the drive cogs are metal Thanks for the info wangwang, I’m guessing original replacements are not available?, and no-one has remade them?!. No, but you can use spare parts from other models, you need to open it up first to check which bits are at fault.

Cant believe aj's dont do alloy welding anymore. Did 125 case repair for me just couple of weeks ago🙄 He does, would you not need to weld and mill that repair?

Are you fitting an original OEM Yamaha bearing, or a LMC/Legend one??? The LMC/Legend ones are slightly oversize and will be even more difficult to fit than a standard one. Had problems with their selector bearing being sh!te, so no, a yam one

Might be easier to get a set of good cases? It's not too hard to strip the engine if you follow the manual.

Had to remove it before vapour blasting, it was a got to get out, ended up putting it on the gas hob and using a slide hammer. The bearing was knackered, been stood, exposed over 10 years!

The needles are the same , but the guy who sold them hasn't had any for a while. If the needle is stuck, I would think there may be some internal damage.

465mm pivot to wheel spindle 365mm brake arm Thanks, my swingarm is 520mm, so must have been extended! The other measurement was for the brake rod, which must be correct at about 470mm, that's why it doesn't fit. wang
