It is a KR1 front caliper. I think it’s either a rear RGV or KR1 as they are the same. Bike manufacturers make surprisingly little themselves of a bike. This will be a caliper made by a third party and bought by Susuki and Kawasaki. Jon It is KR1 front as the line mount is on the top of the caliper or bottom in this case. I also provided this caliper for that bike ;-).

350 little ends are wider, so you will need to get 250 ones. Everything else crankwise is the same.

Spent the afternoon messing around with the crank center alignment jig I made Then I pulled a crank apart to see if it would work But it’s a hybrid lc/aircooled crank so that’s no good , it’s also far more 4kd than any rd crank I’ve seen , but it’s out of a racer so no real surprise there Anyone got a cheap lc crank they want to sell me ? Mike Got one with a collapsed big end, apart from that it's worn but ok.

Green/red wire goes to the sender, which is also earthed through fastening to the cyl head. Black -ve Brown +ve

I have fitted one and it works well, although I did relocate it as the bike isn't standard. Instead of using the large block connector you could solder the wires togetherleaving a standard appearance?

Quick question.
The genuine KOYO water pump bearing is open oil side and sealed water side and cost about £12. I can't find these for sale outside Yam, but can find the double sealed ones which they say one seal can be removed easily to allow outside lubrication and can be had for about 70p each. I have just removed a double open one from a YPVS case, which seemed like a bad idea!
Anyone done this with the double sealed ones?
cheers

I'm replacing mine now (4L0) 1981. After I've removed the clip above the seal, I can't see where the seal ends and the fork leg starts. I started by prying out the rubber parts to the seal but am left with what looks like a metallio ring rusted against the fork leg. I'm nervous about trying to pry that using the fork leg top as the fulcrum - any tips please? Haynes says to pry out the seals using a screwdriver and YouTube has a lot of vids with guys pulling the stanchion out against hammer-style to remove the seal. I use the slide hammer method, doesn't always take out the seal, but once the stanchion is removed and out of the way it's easier to get the seal out.

Has anyone fitted a set of RD250C spoked wheels in an LC? If so, is it a bearing and spacer change or a sleeve to make the spindles fit? Cheers wang

Shouldn't be any different, I have 31k forks on an LC and the cable fits no problem.

I had a brand new LC in 1981 and got a massive tank slapper doing 85 on a sweeping left hander, never cacked myself so much, steering damper fitted very soon after.

Not sure about the wiring, but YPVS is electronic, so wouldn't be too difficult. I have a nice set of clocks if you need them ;-)

My mistake, looks like it is the angle of the pic. I can repair the case if it has cracks or missing tabs. May take you up on the repair. No worries, PM me

Think it's just the angle that makes it look not like an lc You can see the 2 slots on the top rim where the extrusions on the side of the case where the locating lugs are What is wrong with the case? I have a glass, but LC clock cases are gold dust, the one you have there isn't an LC one.

How many 350's are on a V plate? I remember my mates brother having to order his 350 when they first came out with the free Bell helmet and that was a W reg, which I ended up owning.
