Hi chaps and chapettes.
As some of you may know I have an RS125 yoke on my hybrid LC project and would like to use the RS clocks. As far as I can tell the speedo is cable driven and for a 17" wheel so that is ideal however the tacho is electronic. On a car that would wire into the distributor and nice and easy as I have done it but how do you do it on a bike? Must be a way...

Not sure about the wiring, but YPVS is electronic, so wouldn't be too difficult. I have a nice set of clocks if you need them ;-)

You can take a pulse signal off the orange coil wire but your biggest problem will be the rs will be one pulse per revolution and the rd will be 2 pulses per rev.
Think there is a black box you can buy to half the signal
Think the yamagama guys use them to run rg clocks

And thanks Steve I will keep my eye out for a black box. Do you know what they are actually called? Pulse converter or something like that?
