If you haven't the bits, I made a mould of a good one and used Plastex to fix it.

How many do you need?

Remove the rubber grommet, if not already removed, you will need a small screwdriver or similar, bent at 90• at the tip, slide it past the remains of the tripknob, and lift to apply pressure on the shaft, that should then let you unscrew the plastic knob.

Anyone going to get one? Please leave photos/feedback on here. I got one, they are surprisingly very good, perfect fit.

Does anyone know the part number of just the white piece? Think I have a white bit knocking about somewhere.

I have a couple of two stripe original panels and they are both unpainted on the black part.

If you get a new ignition it's not too difficult to match the key to the cap and seat lock. Or maybe easier and cheaper to buy a new petrol cap and match the others to that key?

Refurbed the ignition switch on a one key locket, and making it into a UK spec instead of Euro spec.

No YPVS n/f 1 and 2 had the same knob as lc Some other yams had the same looking knob but was not screwed on but held by a grub screw Guess how I know 😖 Only bought a bag of 5 of the wrong type a few years ago Steve LC ones are slightly longer than the YPVS ones

Might be with being in a YPVS frame, but are they 350 or 250 barrels? They look a bit short.

Had two done, one 31k and one LC, both at AJ's in Hull, nice job, you can tell if you look close, but it's never going to look like a fresh cast. If you want any pics of the repair PM an email address wang

Can anyone make me the cable guide on the front LHS of the headstock on an LC frame,so I can have it welded back on, or point me in the direction of what metal wire to use. Cheers wang

If LC , yes. If you're using a pattern headlight the bowl will need a hole cutting at the top to allow the clock/ignition switch wiring to pass through.

I've done a few, it is a bit fiddly and will still require a new clock face. Hardest part is finding the correct gearing to fit in.

The trip barrel isn't too bad, but the speedo is very difficult

I have a set in the garage that bolt to the down tubes on the frame, I don't think they'd look too bad, but have never fitted them.

I'd check the switch or connector block.

Those clocks for £300, didn't have the back case, bracket or headlight adjuster, so can add another £100 to that at least. Personally I like buying the projects or just starting with a frame, it may cost more in the long run, but you don't need to shell out five or six grand at a time, and I find that building them is very enjoyable, if a little frustrating having to wait for certain parts. Plus you get the bike you want at the end.

You can get an adjustable tail unit now, does the light/numberplate mount all in one. Thanks do you have a link or make? Go to rdlccrazy shop, it's on the LC trick bits page ;-)

Having serious problems finding a Mito 125 speedo drive for my LC. I have Aprilia RS125 clocks (also cable driven). Is it possible to make this digital in some way? Alex I have an rs125 front end in the garage, pretty sure it'll have the speedo drive on it, I'll root it out this week if you still want it? wang

I have two bikes with this set up, no problems. Have you checked the yokes? Have you got a brace fitted?

Apart from what you can see in the pic, everything else looks pretty standard. Would this benefit from making the adjustments smooth? looks quite rough to me.

First of all, I know nothing about tuning/porting etc. so need some advice. I have a pair of barrels in nice shape, but are tuned/ported, what I need to know if possible, what scale of tuning has been done, and how good a job it is. cheers wang 20190502_182340
