hello all
I have just installed a new central wheel spacer in the rear wheel of my 4LO , but it still doesn't feel right , if I try to tighten the nut too much it drags really badly .
has anyone got any pictures of all of the spacers in the rear wheel . I have looked on the fowlers parts list but it is blurred , I have looked at the Haynes manual but it is exploded and a bit confusing
thanks in advance

what I am confused about is in the Haynes manual , page 148 it shows a spacer behind the metal "dust cover" on the sprocket side , item number 15 , when I took the wheel off today I don't remember seeing that one

Do you have the collar/spacer (no 8 in the Haynes diagram) fitted to the inside of the sprocket carrier? OEB

Also while doing this check the back of the brake backplate, Ive seen the inside of that 'spacer' area get chewed away too.

Hi doddy . The spacer in the l/h wheel bearing /in the manual they call it a collar 4. the bigger diameter fits to the inside of the wheel against the central spacer . The sprocket carrier bearing is 7 in the diagram and 8 is a collar for that .
