Does it matter what number is stamped on them? On norbos site it says the earlier ones are stamped 'cy' and the f2 ones '1fx'.

The acid wasn't really in my bedroom.
Headcoats, that's what I was worried about although surely it shouldn't change the underlying properties of the metal, just remove rust and leave a coating on the surface.

I am currently stripped an old YPVS engine, 1WT barrels, VCD flywheel however the following stators are proving to be bit of a mystery to me. The older one came fitted to the engine, the newer one I picked up recently for a few quid when I was buying some calipers. The older one is marked 6DZ. The newer looking one is marked 12HX. What the bloody hell are they off? Can anyone help please? Thanks chaps

Use old brake fluid and just leave it on for a few days. Will take off the paint and not touch the plastic.

Inspired by daglads thread on beer, what are peoples favourite spirits?
I am currently tucking into a bottle of courvoisier vsop. I love a bit of brandy.

Old peculiar is one of my favorites.
Sapporo is a good lager, was better when you could get the proper Japanese export, it's brewed in Canada now I think.
Stella as a daily session beer. I'm sure it's not good for you though.

I just use a bit of fairy liquid and save the expensive stuff for really horrible stuff. I stuck the mrs' engagement ring in the other day and it came up a treat. big brownie points. I did loads of jewellery for the women at work which has given me a few get out of jail free cards too.

I could do but it might take a while.
please note that it should be jobbies and not hobbies!
can someone just measure the diameter of the part of the gear lever bolt that the gear lever sits on?

Now then, I'm trying to fit a gear lever to my f2 but the lever will not fit on the bolt.
the bolt measures 11.9mm in diameter and is one of norbo's stainless hobbies.
I bought the gear lever off a forum member, it look right and has an internal diameter of 11.7mm where it slots onto the bolt shaft. it looks like it had a brass bush in it.
can someone please measure their bolt for me. something is wrong!

I'm loving this. Can't find a Yamaha one though. Has it been done? I'd need a lay down after half an hour on the third floor.

I'd agree with the above. peter James insured me on a weird jap import with different forks. good price, seems like a good company. hardly anyone else would touch me and I've got a full clean licence with max ncd.
