I Modified a YBR swing arm mainly because it looked good and was reasonable affordable but when in the bike it all looked wrong-wheel centre and mudguard centre just looked wrong.

I’ve done all this spending ££££s,buying needles ( differing lengths and pivot size) also ,different gauges off similar age bikes sr,Xs,xj - all to no avail-in the end sent my collection to Simon on here to Do his thing and all came back loooking good. Just my penny’s worth

Come on bare give us names, my build will particularly slow and am concerned 2 stroke oil will eventually drip off leaving it vulnerable when eventually started. 1st time builder and any advice greatly appreciated.

I can modify the stopper arm so it has a nice bearing fitted and also provide a phosphor bronze bush fitting and bolt for it to pivot on. Fit one of these plus a modified star, and some suitable oil and that should get you a lot closer to being able to get neutral. I have been using Comma Eurolite Semi-synthetic car oil lately which seems to work well. Would you be interested in modify my arm? do you do the star mod too? best regards Dave

I asked similar and got recommended ‘Paisley freight’ Sent off my engine (20kg) and it cost less than £20 collected the next day and delivered the day after-I will be using them when I get it back, not sure if there’s a maximum length though

Are there any gauges that may use the same parts or are unique to LCs?

Mine didn’t fit either, just got some shims off eBay,thought it was all part & parcel of fitting after market parts. The hassle I’m having trying to fit Tarozzi rear sets😡.

I sold on eBay world wide-more like there default setting. Race suit to Australia cost loads to send then he said not as described, had to pay return postage but never arrived, money refunded thru PayPal! Cordless drill to Belgium, lost! Again refunded thru Paypal. My advice would to go in carefully

I thought you had to link PayPal to bank card rather than account,so if you sell something then withdraw all the money they can they get fee's due from linked bank account thru the DD. I don't like it or the fees but this is progress I guess - is LOOT still published?
