I am looking to repair a few wires from indicator switch back to the harness as 3 are now 1-!!! and also knackered the plastic shroud that's supposed to protect it. what is good for replacing the plastic covering? Big heat shrink tubing or loom tape? and where can I get it from?

Hi guys pulled old microns out of the shed and they are loads worse than I remembered! not really been down the road mainly rust coming thru,down pipes poor,dents on cans and massive gouge on 1 can. can they be rescued or scrap?

Thanks for that yogi That's still 3" longer than stock tho I am thinking putting yzf125 arm but it's 4" longer than original-only approx tho and it looks good but a fraction of RGV stuff nowadays

Wheels fresh back from wards new road riders arrived today put the front on easy enough then doooo--forgot the valves went to the car tyre shop for valves and the guy reckons the car ones won't pull through are they special for bike wheels or do I need tubes? thanks

Tank & plastics look like a right result- as for the wheels I agree with shaun2 -- at least dayglo orange--I have a ratty old pair up the shed if you need them

I want user friendly no way show condition I'm thinking powder coat frame,swing arm,stands etc,stainless steel engine bolts Not too sure if I am going olive passivite seems like hard work!!

Would any body where I could find a complete (ish) list of what parts to powder coat ,paint zinc plate ,passivite dont just want to have frame ,swing arm stand done then realise I have missed something

Thanks for that Steven I shall pop round my parents tomorrow and pull out the frame,I know the centre stand bracket has pulled from the tube and needs welding back-I just need to make sure it goes back straight and level

Wheels finally back!!!!!! Looking great but not sure how to add picture Ordered tyres and bearings Now to dig out the frame from my dads to start the repairs on centre stand bracket

Hi after 20 years in boxes I have now committed myself to rebuilding it. bought in January 1994 for the princely sum of £185 and last taxed March 1996 wheels been sent to C J Ward and greatly awaiting there return-I will get really fired up then Just had wards on the phone asking if I want satin paint or light crinkle!! gone for the crinkle. wheels been painted tomorrow then off to the polishers on Saturday and then back to me some time next week. cant wait. will upload pix as soon as they arrive- and the frame that's split apart on the centre stand tube!!!!
