Here is my 250LC, it's not a restoration more like ongoing improvements, I've had it since the middle of March 2015, it's a German import had it registered and on the road since June 2015, I've used it since then and have really enjoyed it! Here's a pic of when I first got it.

Tank & plastics look like a right result- as for the wheels I agree with shaun2 -- at least dayglo orange--I have a ratty old pair up the shed if you need them

Looks good , quick transformation !! Have you sorted a 350 oil pump for your conversion ? I bought a recon pump of Arrow in June for the 250, have left the 250 pump on and am compensation with some premix aswell, I have got a 350 pump with shaft that I will probably send to arrow over the winter

Have fitted 31k carbs ( std set up 240 mains etc ) and I'm running a small amount of premix to compensate for the 250 oil pump, when I first fitted the 350 top end I sent Arrow ( the oil pump guru ) a message asking about how much premix to compensate for 250 pump, he replied with the amount to use and have done about 450 miles since then all seems well, have checked plug colour and that seems ok.

Glad to hear its running ok, did worry for you when i read that as it was a while back. I would still fit the right pump when you can, just my 2c etc. So many people dont realise that running premix weakens the mixture yet theyre convinced theyre doing their engine good by having oil in there.
