It is amazing how much work goes into a hybrid LC, you change one thing which affects another and another and so on, this bike is that x10, a truly staggering amount of thought and work at every stage. Amazing, keep going Sir!

Mouse, I like that, no reservoir either which is nice, so is that a straight swap, are your footrests YPVS ones? what does it fit? Jon, I take your point, but my master cylinder is seized so if I'm changing I may as well put something nice on, the rest of the bike is far from std. Phil Hi Phil The footrests are NK rearsets. I am pretty sure all the Brembo Master Cylinders have the same hole centres, as i had a normal one on before with these rearsets. If you like I can measure the hole centre distance? Mouse

That's a beauty Mr K, though if you are going to run it i would think twice about that head, (only going on my own experience!!)

As others have said a good clutch cable makes a massive difference. I also had a really heavy clutch lever action, I ended up getting Venhill to make me a couple of cables, the difference between these and what i had is night and day.
Also, as said, make sure that if you have HD clutch springs, you shouldn't need any more than three. One other thing, is the basket ok. Not really worn/grooves on the castleated parts?

That is a brilliant result on the caliper pistons! I'm amazed that the little tyre inflator had enough power, great result!

Nice job on the clutch Dusty, much better explanation than the Haynes manual. I run 3 HD duty springs on my YPVS engines as they are tuned and no damper rings and they work fine. The guy who built my last YPVS engine put six HD clutch springs in! A bit overkill and the clutch was unbelievably heavy! Put three normal ones in which cured it.

Saw that, pretty good i thought. Bumped into Henry Cole once and tried to get him to do a feature on LCs, but it came to nothing, shame!

By the way i assume you know that the bike that gave Nico Bakker inspiration is 'Yogi's' from this forum.

Route 2 looks neat Just out of interest can i ask, did your rear caliper and hanger fit together easily? I have the same set up on one of my hybrids and i had to shave a tiny amount from the hanger as the top of the caliper hit it and you couldn't get both mounting holes to line up! Mouse Hi Mouse Yes mine a Very tight fit but does fit ok. I used the part Ref from one of dusty's build threads. I don't really want to shave anything of the Mounting bracket as it's anodised and i have to paint the front calipers so plan to get the rear caliper painted to match exactly so shaving a mil of should be an issue.. This is the one i bought, Unless I have made a mistake? i will have to re check Dusty's thread.. www.ebay.co.uk/itm/Brembo-OE-Black-Rear-Brake-Caliper-Ducati-900-Supersport-SS-89-90-NEW/322892466295?ssPageName=STRK%3AMEBIDX%3AIT&_trksid=p2057872.m2749.l2649Hello Morgy i have the exact same caliper and hanger as you and Dusty, even took mine over to Dusty's! I think it is just poor manufacturing by Tyga or brembo. I got it sorted, you cannot tell, i just filed a tiny amount from the hanger, but as 'Badger1' says not what you expect for something of that price! ATB Mouse
