Hey Mark,
nothing i can say, what a dreadful, dreadful time for you and your family, my thoughts are with you all.
Mark, the only truism i know is 'time is a great healer'
All the best and hope to see you soon

Absolutely brilliant! This is by far the most involved bike i have seen you build. I love the chain run solution on the frame. Really fantastic build Dusty.

This looks fantastic, really, really like it.
For what it is worth, i think the swingarm has to be silver, paint or bare ally with the red frame, just my opinion!
Looking forward to seeing this finished!

had a look at my V5 and there is nothing at all against the emissions bit.
I will have a word with my MOT tester and also call Honda UK to see if they can help

I went to Camden last Monday with a girl I know. Had no idea how to pay the congestion charge. Asked in a shop and they had no idea. Went online and got confusing information. I did manage to park for free in the Morrison's there (for 2 hours). Drove out and then back in and got another 2 hours lol. Filled up there and was surprised that it was cheaper than where I live. 20mph speed limits everywhere. Got home assuming I would get a bill through the post or something but no. I got fined. So one day there cost me £24 in charges, £20 in fuel just in London itself (the traffic is horrendous) almost knocked over half a dozen pedestrians as none of them seem to look before they step out into the road. If we had taken a train the cost for both of us would have been £26. Next time that's what we'll use! Alex Try that everyday! I only spend about £28 a week in petrol, but now it is another £62.50 a week, still cheaper than the train though! Mouse

Yes, i commute most days on a 2006 Hornet and yet i have to pay the same, the same as say, a 30 year old diesel car! Really, is my bike as dirty?? It is utterly ridiculous. Clearly TFL have done no research and it is just another tax. We still have diesel buses, taxis, electric trains (since when has producing electricity been green) battery cars, a joke, try and disposing of a battery when it's dead! I am self employed and this is just another cost. They wrote to me three times (waste of paper) explaining my options, they are: 1. Use public transport..........Unreliable, expensive, over crowded 2. Walk/cycle.........................48 miles a day! 3. Buy a newer bike..............Spend several thousand to see it get scratched, stolen Why do they not encourage motorcycles, No congestion, minimal pollution, oh yes, minimal earnings for TFL! Mouse Bikes need to be 1st August 2007 or newer to be free don't they ?. It's a ball ache but can't you sell your 2006 bike and buy one a year newer ? lol Hi Looey, yes, you are quite right about 2007. I could sell, but i bought the bike fairly cheaply for the sole purpose of commuting about two years ago. It is a bit scruffy and i needed to fix a couple of bits on it. I have spent money on it, sorted everything and it goes really well, so i am loathed to sell it. I didnt see this coming!! Mouse

The LC club are having a discounted weekend there, including a LC only track session, if numbers allow. I've 3 sessions booked. Wasn't aware of this. I have three sessions booked too on the Saturday Mouse

Well I have a bent frame! twisted at the headstock, strange for it to be off to one side and not bent back. The guys at Hybrid Motorcycles are a great bunch, he cleared an area for my bike as he didn't want it to get scratched whilst waiting for be fixed. he had 2 other 350's there, one was a Hybrid too. Hope it goes well Phil, i had to get my 31k frame straightened and got the guys who make 'ABBA' stands to do it, nearly went to 'Hybride MCs' but 'ABBA' were nearer to me. Mouse

Found a pic of Mouse at Brands couple of years back. Seconds later he was wheelying past the guy in front, one handed, flicking a "V" sign to the crowd of adoring onlookers 2015-08-08 13.21.05 by dusty miller, on Flickr 6 seriously quick laps, then rode all the way home ! Legend Dusty Funnily enough Dusty, that is how i remember it to...in my head!!!! Was a good day, all the best Mouse

That looks like a great stand Steve, which one is it? Was thinking of getting one. Believe it or not they are the guys that straightened by 31k's frame after my 'off' It's what they used to do before making those stands! Mouse Never knew they did straightening Its the superbike 3 package I think Superbike stand, superbike roller kit and front lift kit in the package I added the swing arm removal kit and luckily did not need a bike fitment kit as stusco had bought one for his lc2 which he no longer has so very generously passed it on Stand can be used as normal without the roller kit so I'll keep my eyes out for another used one on eBay so I can have 2 bikes sorted Steve Many thanks Steve Mouse

hi Mouse thanks for that, its the rad mount side as I have ordered a k-tech one but its a different type "body" mount to the NHK type norbo sells and I could see in one of your photos that your damper didn't look like a NHK damper no great shakes if you haven't got one as I have a good idea how I will mount it to the rad bracket Mart Hi Mart this is the only pic i have to hand, hope it is of some use Mouse

That stuff does look really nice, like the rearsets, seems they have adapters for pillion footrests too.
Also their yokes look lovely, seem to even have a built in damper mount, but i thinks they are only for standard YPVS forks, i think, maybe...
my Spanish is none too hot!

Bike looks great Fozzy Can i just ask why the pipes are mounted the way they are at the back (footrest hanger)? Mouse They are German pipes normally in mild steel (blued) but i had these chromed, he does supply a strap to mount them but i didn't like that so made the brackets, its the way they are designed, makes you wonder why he didn't modify so they bolt straight on, i just wanted something different, if they don't work out i will get a pair of tsa or mutts nuts pipes Interesting, cheers Fozzy Mouse
