Thanks guys, that really is high praise indeed! I feel quite humbled. Re the forks, i kept them gold, just to break up the colours a bit, nothing more. As Dusty said, they are in pretty good nick and Maxton re-valved/sprung them for me and also polished the knuckles. Cheers Mouse Hi Mouse i like that black nut for the Yoke spindle, is it steel or anodised aluminium? Hi Tobyjugs it's anodised aluminium, got it from Fondseca Mouse

I'm sure i remember one of the mags had some discs from China and one cracked in use!
I am sure that 99.9% of the time they are fine, but with things like brakes etc. any hint of this sort of thing would put me off buying.
I know the price is appealing but, why are they so cheap?
THIS IS JUST MY OPINION as i have no experience, only that Chinese copyright laws are virtually no existent, so anything is fair game to be copied.

Great race, I do not have Sky or anything similar, just 'freeview' so this channel is my only option. Coverage is poor, but better than nothing

So, not posted much for a while. I have two hybrids, a 4LO and a 31k. Most of last year was spent with the 31k as i built it, crashed it and re-built it!! Anyway my 4LO has been a bit neglected, this one So....bought a present for her in the way of some 'Spondon 440 yokes' to replace the modded RGV ones that i had. These really are a beautiful work of art and it almost seems a shame to fit them! They weigh 2 kilogrames where the RGV ones weigh 4, it all helps! But fit them i did! Complete with new head bearings and a change of handlebars from grey to silver! Everything fitted perfectly and even the horns mount in the traditional 'LC' way, so very pleased. When i binned my 31k, i damaged the wing mirror, a really nice bit of kit made by Rizoma. However these cost £120 approx!! So after searching on the internet i found some Chinese made ones that a similar but bigger. The quality is just not there compared to the Rizoma one, BUT, for less than £30, i got two! One for each hybrid. I will fit them and try them, hopefully they will not fall apart! I may even keep them if i can cope with the quality!!
Cheers for now Mouse

Good luck Oldbritguy, the main bracket you need (in Steve's pics) seems quite rare, i struggled to find one! One has just sold on Fleabay (NOS) for £300!! They are really flimsy bits of kit and support the headlight, fairing, horns and clocks.
Stick with it, you'll get one

You can just buy a MPH dial face, fit it and your speedo will read in MPH, although the mileage will still be in KPH. I may be wrong on this but i think i'm right.
There are threads on here on how to change the face, I know 'Dusty350' has written one.

Hi Boost
Don't know if it helps, but there is a very similar bike to yours on Fleabay, asking for nearly 6k, but it has been on for quite a while!! Gives you some idea what people will/won't pay

This is really gathering pace, i like all your frame mods and problem solving.
I know we discussed before, but what about putting the PV motor in front of the headstock, like a TZ, I think that could look great, next to a tiny offset projector headlight, just a thought, but it's your bike and looking great
