He was the one who said "if you aint American you aint s**t".
To be honest I was more insulted by his butchery of the English language, the double negative shows he's a bit dim, but coupled with his arrogance and dislike of anyone not American, it just turned me right off. He also called his European competition "a bunch of pussies".
I could live with Kenny Roberts colours, they're Yamaha speed blocks and Sheene used the same design, but even though the artwork on Kocinski's bike was good I wouldn't use his colours.

You could get a designer to do a British equivalent. the colours are the same, but you'd have the Union flag instead of the Stars, and a Lion's head instead of the Eagle. Fun and British too!

That’s not a bad shout. You could replace the eagle with a lion. Nice to hear someone refer to the union flag properly when not in naval use. Jon

Like that, uK jack version, inspired by, not just copy... wasn’t aware of Kosinskis attitude to us brits so it would be a bit a bit of a two fingers too that. or a version more in line with what Bare was alluding too , just with a confederate flag.....might get your bike torched though!

My first idea was The British Union flag like what they have on a triumph but in a crinkly finish and dark red white and blue like aged But then i had to think how to do it and draw it all up and the painter wanted a fortune to do it all this is a straight copy and was bright and fun looking but now im having second thoughts dam you lot LOL

Love the idea of a cartoon like lions head to. Failing that just type ‘union flag fluttering drawing’ into google for some inspiration. Jon

A proper Marlboro paint job in bright orange/red is hard to beat in my opinion, if I was going to have non-standard paintwork I'd go for that. It looks better on a fully faired bike but an LC in full Marlboro is still hard to beat.
Those Kocinski colours are nice, I always wanted his replica helmet, but once he started slagging all the Brits off it put me right off him.

I guess the paint job is of it's time but does look a bit dated now. The 125 owner should have spent some cash on a new front disc before splashing out on new paint!
