Hi I am mocking up my rear lines with my New Tyga/Brembo combo, I have some old lines i am using to mock the System up as best i can... I want to hide as much as possible and keep everything as neat as possible, Can anyone see any problems using routing two.. The lines do not bind on the swing arm with fully lowered or raised suspension and would have a line protector added, the Brake union is able to pivot slightly.. Route one.. Seems a normal routing everyone does.. IMG_2296 by mark.morgan07, on Flickr Route two... Much cleaner The rear line will have enough give to allow for chain adjustment IMG_2299 by mark.morgan07, on Flickr The Hidden line Will be right behind the Actuator rod and the line will be silver. IMG_2307 by mark.morgan07, on Flickr The route of the Lower line set up IMG_2303 by mark.morgan07, on Flickr Brake union, IMG_2315 by mark.morgan07, on Flickr fullsizeoutput_e1 by mark.morgan07, on Flickr All hidden IMG_2319 by mark.morgan07, on Flickr Any ideas or Criticisms welcomed

I have mine different t everyone elses, it runs through the swinger and is much shorter. Have a look at my 421LC build on my site for pics. I never liked the silly long RGV line.

Route 2 looks neat
Just out of interest can i ask, did your rear caliper and hanger fit together easily? I have the same set up on one of my hybrids and i had to shave a tiny amount from the hanger as the top of the caliper hit it and you couldn't get both mounting holes to line up!

Mouse Hi Mouse Yes mine a Very tight fit but does fit ok. I used the part Ref from one of dusty's build threads. I don't really want to shave anything of the Mounting bracket as it's anodised and i have to paint the front calipers so plan to get the rear caliper painted to match exactly so shaving a mil of should be an issue.. This is the one i bought, Unless I have made a mistake? i will have to re check Dusty's thread.. www.ebay.co.uk/itm/Brembo-OE-Black-Rear-Brake-Caliper-Ducati-900-Supersport-SS-89-90-NEW/322892466295?ssPageName=STRK%3AMEBIDX%3AIT&_trksid=p2057872.m2749.l2649

I think it is just poor manufacturing by Tyga or brembo. I got it sorted, you cannot tell, i just filed a tiny amount from the hanger, but as 'Badger1' says not what you expect for something of that price! ATB Mouse

I had to adjust mine too ! As Mouse says, a fraction in it and not noticed once fitted. Pic 2 looks neat, although pic 1 is fine too - just need a shorter hose. Remember though that to bleed that set up you will no doubt need to raise the caliper above the height of the master cylinder, so just bare that in mind Mine was fitted as per pic 1; 20180205_144858 by David Miller, on Flickr Dusty

it might be that the caliper for the 900ss aint quite the right one if you have to mod it to fit I got mine with the bracket from Gavin at jap4performance , cheaper than the ducati one too

Hi , nice caliper but not stating the obvious shouldn't the bleed nipple be on the top . yes yes I know you can take it off to bleed just saying . Any way hose under swinger . Oh is that another union point on the other side of the caliper .If so go into that .

Here's another one for going on the inside of the swingarm. It still needs to be fine tuned.

I actually prefer pic 1. Bit different and Brembo isn't written upside down lol. But both ideas look neat and tidy to me.

Here is my pic, I finally had a chance to get it off my site: It was a little neater when the bike was completed of course and held captive as well, but this pic shows the idea well.

I did really think about going inside but as i didn't have a tyre on I wasn't sure is i would have issues with tyre/line interference...

If the brake line was black it would also be less noticeable.

This project is a bit of a slow burner.I have not made a build thread as the only thing Yamaha is the engine cases and the wheels. I think most members won't be interested.

Hi Morgy sorry if i hijacked your thread. No problems Tobyjugs.. All forums are the same, Threads get diverted... But i do agree with the others Show it don't hide it.. Anyway I've gone with the routing under the swing arm and have now fitted the NotcHead line clamps so no going back now... IMG_2328 by mark.morgan07, on Flickr
