Great news, but i fear that once some scumbag gets killed it will be revoked. In our country, this will probably be the outcome FFS
Having our little one now scares the shit out of me and her future

The Met have been doing this for a while now. On the local (London) news tonight they said moped related crimes have fallen dramatically since they started ramming the little cnuts off. About time the UK stopped being a nanny state and I'm glad the cops finally have some cojones!

Good news. A pity that if they damage one of the scumbags the police watchdog comes into action.

LONG OVERDUE Unfortunately as said above if one gets hurt, even though their personal choice to place themselves in that position, the police will get investigated or sued, which I believe has already happened I think one of the poor robbing low life c**ts hurt his neck when placing himself in that position

They have no sympathy from me
You live by the sword....
As for the injury thing, does that mean anybody being chased by a car and has an accident can sue for being put in that situation
Its all over the press and media now so if you still choose to do it then take the consequences and stop f ucking whingeing about it

...Grand news and nice to see. Not bothered about the claims for compensation, we will take that on the chin, just keep knocking the wee cnuts off. We will have plenty of money to pay the claims once we leave Europe soon anyway. ! :-) Steven.

The judges need to harden the f**k up too !
Couple stories in the news this week where a bloke punched another bloke outside a pub and killed him , 5 or 6 years Then a joyrider on the run from the police also killed their passenger and again 5 to 6 years
Make it 30 years and it may be a better deterrent FFS !

The Met police here and pretty much safe from any lawsuits. Scumbag not wearing a lid? Then it's your problem as it's illegal NOT to wear one. Ram away lads. I just hope my local cops start doing the same.
A few weeks ago (I only heard this today) a gang of 6 moped riders carved up a family in their car and when the driver went to remonstrate with them they head butted him to the floor and threw acid into his wife's face. And the acid hit her baby as well. Thankfully locals saw this and called 999. The wife and baby are ok but what amazes me is no bugger chased after the moped scum. Personally I would have driven into the lot of them and to hell with the consequences.

Would be good if the general public could use the same tactic on mopeds/bikes where they are being ridden illegally (no helmets/no number plates etc).

That's shit. I bet if you took the law into your own hand to protect your property, they'd be all over you like a rash Be there instantly and take you away. Or am I being a bit melodramatic?

That's shit. I bet if you took the law into your own hand to protect your property, they'd be all over you like a rash Be there instantly and take you away. Or am I being a bit melodramatic? Nope, totally true It doesn't seem to be the crime but the chance of conviction Somebody burgles you or an eta, not really interested You call them to say you caught somebody on your property and thumped them, you get prosecuted I recently got hit by an uninsured driver who did not stop. Police not really interested and said it was up to me if I wanted it followed up. Only when they find out he had no insurance so a guaranteed prosecution do they agree to chase it up as my word against his They call a couple of weeks later to say anpr picked him up and he was persued and charged with several offences but they would not be any further action on hitting me despite me saying I could identify him Now what really hacks me if is that there are anpr cameras every where but as an uninsured vehicle trips one despite having the address of the keeper no one knocks on the door I was in disbelief when the police told me that using an untaxed vehicle on the road is no longer a police matter š¤¬š¤¬š¤¬ What's the point?
