Neither did i rich, wanted to make sure the documentation was correct just incase, you know how companies will try not to pay out if they can.
As my renewal was due i rang my insurance (carol nash) to ask them to change the model to an LC2, they said their system is linked to the DVLA and the model registered with them is an N, i rang the DVLA and they informed that the system doesn't have the model on it, i asked her if my insurance company was telling porkies, she said yes, got back onto carol nash and they said they would rectify it on their system, lets wait and see what my documents say when i receive them..

If i remember rightly the LC's were the most stolen bike in their day, mine was 6 months old when it went, had two mates who both had theirs stolen too.

That's what i thought markhoopy, not sure why my insurance have have it down as a 350 N, think i need to put them straight..
Jon, that is quit possible, it was that little voice in my head that kept on saying "it's a lemon" that made me ask the question.

Where do i start, purchased my 350ypvs in 2010 after getting divorced and like many 50+ males, longed for the smell of 2 stroke again, so i did what we are always told not to do, rushed out and purchased one rather than take my time, my frame number is 31K008206, can just about make it out due to the cables wearing away the paint, i believe this number is for 83/84 31K the reg document says the bike was registered in 1986 and is on a D plate which if i'm correct should make the it a 350 ypvs N but its not, it has 31k clocks, forks, swing arm etc, did they still make 31K's in 86??? My insurance document says its a 350 ypvs N which it isn't "I THINK" WHAT DO I INSURE IT AS?

You could use a longer banjo bolt on the master cylinder and have 2 long hoses and do away with the splitter, friend did it on gsx1100 many years ago, looked good.

Thanks Davey,
Funny how things jog your memory, that's how i used to make gaskets many years ago when i was a poor young man and couldn't afford the reel thing, arr they were the days. :-)

When i got my 31k it had std F2 pipes with modified cans, they weren't sitting right on the hangers so i removed them and noticed it had 2 exhaust gaskets on each pipe, i left one gasket out and the were ok on the hangers but flopped about when bolted to the barrels, i would say they wont fit an F2 but maybe i'm wrong.

I have them on my 31k, standard jetting, take the wadding out and they sound ok, the ones on ebay don't have the flanges on them so you wont be able to bolt them on.

Are there any front brake calipers that will bolt straight onto my LC2 forks without having to use caliper brackets as the standard ones seem a little pon
