Pretty sure that there wasn't one on mine in 1981.
The bike in my avatar has the front peg sawed in half, so no problems lol.

Using my limited skills, I recovered the seat today! Vast improvement I think.

It's a 1977, I have changed the bars and rear pegs and got the correct kickstart/gear lever rubbers, just the seat cover to change and repaint the casings.

I use a syringe and pipe connected to the open bleed nipple to back fill the new hose with fluid, as it won't fill itself by pumping the the lever.

Anyone on the forum got D 949 JNF?
This was my first F2, bought new in 1986. It hasn't been on the road since 2010.
I did see it on Ebay a while back, over Sunderland way, it had been fitted with an RS250 front and rear set up.
Cheers wang

New Yam frames weren't stamped, I had an LC that had been in an accident and had to have a new frame, and was never restamped. Not sure how you'd go about getting one registered if it wasn't already associated with a bike.

Just got this RD, a few non standard bits, and the seat looks like its got the wrong cover on, but it's only got 19.5K genuine miles and matching numbers etc.

Is there a kind sole on the forum who can test a CDI for me, its from a 4CE 350R. I'm trying to narrow down a starting problem. I'm in Lancashire, but will pay return post etc. if anyone can do it who's further away. Cheers. wang

Simon offers a fitting service for £30 for the pair if you buy the backing plates off him (£45), for the sake of £75 if your not sure I'd just get Simon to do them for you, job done ! Ditto, Simon did a great job with mine.
