Would be to me but most people don’t realise the cost of building one like that , put it on eBay with a decent reserve and see what happens ,

I would say 4/5 k would get rid of it reasonably easy maybe more on eBay , it’s a hard one to price been a hybrid , it would cost more to put together that’s for sure , but does anyone ever get there money back with tricked up bikes? What sort of money does it return if you break it like you did Kaf ?

You could always move to a nice village round the Scarborough area Dusty and have a nice little nest egg on the property price difference , that’s what a lot do that I’ve worked for in the past.

Buy the bike and don’t think twice , I’ve been self employed for most of my working life , and after 40 years in the building trade am starting to slowly fall apart physically, was planing on retiring at 60 but at the moment am having to rest for 6 weeks after undergoing ankle surgery , having time to think and talking to Muttsnutts then reading this thread I’m coming round to thinking enough is enough ! There’s no point in any money at all if your not still fit enough to enjoy it , haven’t got that many more fit and active summers left in the great scheme of things , time to start looking after number 1 I reckon.

Ask Muttsnutts he won’t dyno a bike with Chinese carbs on whatever jets it’s got , fake goods are what they are

I would think by the time you got the full rgv front and back ends swinging arm conversion , calipers , discs , tyres , hoses , etc etc you’ll be pushing nearer 2k , I’ve been gathering bits up for ages and dearnt add it all up!

Bet most people on here have more than one 2 stroke me included , let’s hope we all don’t decide to reduce or collections at the same point! I enjoy my bikes but still hope that one day they will help me enjoy a holiday or two , can’t imagine anyone feeling happy about loosing hard earned ! But I am Yorkshire!!!!

And an expensive engine rebuild on top for piece of mind , it doesn’t look a very good deal unless it goes cheap , which I expect it won’t.

If you unscrew the bowl from the body with the carb held upright do you get fuel coming out as they separate?

I’ve just fitted one to my valve , needed top end doing anyway which made it a no brainier, didn’t see point in doing crank just wanted to bolt straight on and ride with confidence, v force 4 reeds , kr1s copy carbs , pod filters and bigger rad ,really pleased with power and no more leaky dirty ypvs! Win win.

Early r6 fit straight on , not much good if your tap fits through plastics , and only on off ,no reserve but are high flow and can pick up cheap on eBay , work for me.

Nice bike , I would think 4 to 4,5 tops , if it was a uk bike in standard colour definitely 5 to 6 , but who knows these days, there seems to be plenty of people with money to burn about at the moment.

That’s a nightmare , the time and money we spend on our hobby is irreplaceable, at times we all get lapsed on security , like been said Cctv alarms , cars or vans backed up to garage doors , even trackers wired into bikes , I’ve been looking and there not much , hope you get it back , and find out whose done it, I no people who have had parts stolen from there garage when they’ve been helping people out , scum everywhere!

They look so good they don't really need a decal , once there on the bike they look different again and there's no mistaking them , I don't suppose they would mind either way , without would be easier I suspect , you'll be going so fast no one will ever see them anyway! and it defiantly needs to be a capital T on 2t cats .

Whilst you've got the cables off , take of power valve bush cover on other inside to the pulley , then rotate valve with adjustable spanner on the end of valve , see how free they feel should move pretty easy , make sure you put it back in same position or you valves could be facing backwards , which I have done! Lol Also check it's moving both sets of valves.
