Just my opinion but a rear is at least £150, front £60-80, if with spindles and decent paint or powder coat, £300 all day long.

I looked for ages for a VJ22 rear wheel. They seem to have dried up on Uk ebay. The ones that were available were in Australia. By the time you added international post and possible import fees, it made a used wheel too expensive. 2 NOS rears turned up on ebay last week, a black and a gunmetal. I bought the black one - it cost me £200. I bought a good front a few months back from a forum member, and paid £100 which I think is a fair price. Spindles/spacers/speedo drive/discs are extras that push the price up though. I have seen a few spindles on ebay for £30 +. I reckon a complete front and rear Rgv set up for a hybrid will cost you a grand now Dusty

Thanks all... I only have the two wheels no speedo drive or spacers, just fitted with bearings etc Picked them up locally. As you say dusty i've only seen the AUS ones on ebay and not really seen that many up for sale thought it was worth an ask. I might keep them for my next hybrid if there getting that hard to come by...

Went for gsxr400 rear and rf600 front (same fitment as rgv but 3.5 rim) You can pick them up for £50 each Steve

I really cheated with the wheels an got 600 bandit wheels £80 for the pair. Rear fit with some work. Not sure what front would be like in rgv forks as mine are triumph forks

Yeah I had to make spacers used bandit Speedo drive but drilled it out had to get bearing outers taken down a few mm too. Also had to get discs off something crazy. But I think still saved loads on using them

Hybrids are becoming too expensive to contemplate building now. Shame, but a sign of the times!!!!

It does mate, if my memory serves (without popping in the garage), AJE is RGV250, AJJ is early Bandito 600, but i've just dropped an early Bandit wheel in an RGV front end with no issues at all. I'll double check tomorrow for you. Andy.

AJE is rgv but strangely I had one that was marked AJE but was a 400 bandit one and it was different
I'd say if the rgv spindle fits then it's rgv
Think the bandit had a smaller spindle

Just checked in the garage, AJE on my RGV standard, AJJ on me YPVS hybrid but as i said went straight into the rgv forks. Andy.
