Hi , sounds like the inner power valve seals could be blowing a bit, check round where Cable housing on left hand side barrel black oil tends to drip out of there as well , mine does it a bit when it's thrashed hard.

It's the choke balance pipe that links the two carbs when your using the choke.

Best service in the motorcycle industry , had 4 pumps done over the last couple of months and have been delighted in the work and the service all along the way , just wish everyone else that I deal with was as professional as Garry , would recommend to anyone with confidence.

Did you wash top pipes out , did mine with plenty of petrol ,got loads out, seems to just runs straight back into cylinders , what plugs are you using. I put iridium in and seemed to clean it up.

Think there just for valves , which are bigger than LC reed blocks , put some in my bike , they seemed to smooth out the flat spot and picked up of the throttle a bit better , would like to see a before and after dyno, sometimes I think it just in your imagination, lol.

Wasted my money on Swarbricks then for my valve! Don't worry about it , I had some on lc 350 and changed them for tsa pipes , can't tell a massive amount of difference on the road , just need to keep the swabricks in the band a bit more, mine sound faster than the tsa pipes aswell which makes you feel fast, like when you used ta take the baffle out of your fizzy,

If it finished off to the same standard ,from seeing what other are making ,it's between 3,5 and 4 on a good day, your the only one who knows what it worth ,tbh it will be a lot less than you've spent on it from my past experiences.

It would have done for me as we'll if it had been totally finished and runing a full power turbo, which in time it hopefully will be ,but that been it's USP just made it fall short of the wining line, and ypvs motor for me is what it is a good tuneable reliable engine that is great fun to work on and ride, love mine just as much as the other dozen or so yamaha strokers in the shed.

Sounds like a new fuel tap then , it will always fill the left cylinder the way the pipes are plumbed to the carbs.

Haha,Real prick might be a tad harsh, think hampo knows what he wants and doesn't need an explanation on legal concerns as he is a solicitor by profession, In answer to your question hampo you could try the disc doctor in Sheffield he made me a set for the cafe racer , bolt straight on look nice and trick , stop well to..

Thanks guys, will have a go with the vinegar first then move onto the por15 if it doesn't come up clean , the hard part is getting it all tipped out again after it's done it's cleaning.
