Went with the other earlier last year to see him at Cheltenham with the other half. She did not really know anything about him other than seeing him to commentary on the tele but she thoroughly enjoyed it. Also bumped into a friend who is some 10 years younger than me and he commented that he had not realised Parish was a motorcycle racer, asked what made him come then and he said he had followed him as a truck racer at which he was very successful. A very talented fella who is still enjoying the sport. Worth going to see and some good stories about Barry Sheene.

Looking very good. You are teasing us with all the close up shots, how about some shots of the full bike. Love those headlamp brackets.

That looks absolutely beautiful, I would want that back too, hate to know what it would cost to get in back. Thankfully I have one already but in red and white. Rich.

Not sure about the chocolate itself being different to me it is the crème which tastes different and seems thinner consistency, took a box of 4 to be sure though.

Surely that would block the jets. Silkolene Proboost helps fishes swim faster, but not really good for them, bike likes it though.

Would have thought the spring goes as in the photo to ensure the brake lever returns and does not drop/activate the brake.

Not only does the bike look the bizz check out the garage, radiator, carpet, plastered painted walls, skirting and even what looks like an oak window board. Better spec than my lounge. Nice one Rich.

I reckon I had that same fairing on my 350ypvs back in 86 and only just sold the fairing a year ago. Cannot remember the make though, was a good solid fairing.

Now that is real nice, looks like it could be a factory build modern version.

That motor is looking the business. Good photo's and record of what you have done, keep them coming. Looking to see the finished build. What did pjme charge for the crank rebuild and did they use new genuine rods, have a spare set of cranks that I want to get built up ready for when I do mine. Rich.

Will be there unfortunately will not now be taking the 500lc as not going to have room in the vans. We are staying in the paddock as part of Team PACRE Honda Racing (Peter Arnold Classic Race Engines) . As is often the case with the Classic bikes it will not even have the engine in the frame until Sunday 17th. Shaun Anderson and his Dad Howard thankfully took on the task of completing the rolling chassis as Pete was fast running out of time trying to build the chassis and the race and practice engines as well as engines for another team. Hopefully she will run. Its a Honda 350/4 taken out to Yoshi 466cc, cracking looking PGW Engineering exhausts, Keihin CR carbs, race cams, Ceriani forks, AP Lockheed caliper, TZ700 fairing, beautifully machined hubs, a lovely set of rims and all fingers crossed. If it runs it will be due to a lot of hard work and dedication on Pete's and the Anderson's behalf's. Shaun is also competing on a GPZ600 in the Classic F2 race. If you are about in the paddock call in for a cup of tea. Have just been speaking to the In Laws who arrived in the Paddock last Friday morning, well early, to have a week of site seeing as in the last 4 years of going they have never really had the chance to pushbike around the island. Apparently they woke up in the middle of the night to hurricane type conditions and soaking wet duvet and sleeping bag as the tent was leaking due to the incredibly torrential rain. Oh and as if things could not have been any worse the authorities have just this evening turned on the electrics. Hopefully by the time we arrive we will be back to sunnier conditions. ps sorry its not a Yamaha 2 stroke. Rich.

Quote - Went to a bike night meeting nr Gloucester on mars bar ypvs hybrid and there was a white and blue hybrid ( from Monmouth , forgot his name) and a candy blue hybrid also a 4L1 and a 4L0. LCS must be common again. Oh yeah, 2 GPZ750 Turbos parked next to mine aswell. A few air cooled RDS and a Mint Mach 111.
Hello Baz, I was there too on my RD500 as was another guy Roger from Gloucester on his RD500. Saw the 4L1, 4LO and the white and blue hybrid from Monmouth (lovely bike)was parked next to my 500, have met him before at the Abergaveny bike meets that happen on Sundays at the bus station. That was a good turn out of LC's shame we did not all park up together. Rich.
