I acquired a set of the pegs and pedals and OEB supplied me the plates, but im not 100% sure ive got everything right as Ive got a bit left over and I dont exactly know where it fits... can anyone help with a diagram or pics of theirs? This is the part I have spare, is it a brake stop for the pedal 'ie max height against the first pull of the spring?' This is what Ive built, looks good i think...

I'm not sure but is it a locking washer and you bend the tab over on the nut flat ?

not a bad idea, but there is nothing to locate it and keep it in place or i might agree with you mate. here were some pics i found which look like sales pics from Raask, you can just see it in them and it does look like some kind of limit stop for the upward travel of the brake pedal against the spring: The rear brake spring is surely in the wrong place in this pic and actually fits under the pedal surely...

Would have thought the spring goes as in the photo to ensure the brake lever returns and does not drop/activate the brake.

Thanks guys, I think we have this understood now, ie the tabbed washer is the return stop for the brake pedal and the spring is incorrect in the Raask pics, ie it goes under the pedal, not against the 'rod bracket'. The spring is way wider in real life so would be silly around that bracket instead of under the pedal.
Just got to unbolt and then rebuild with the correct layout now. I assume there is a bit of tension in the spring to hold it against the stop, so the spring washer (i'll call it that, it a thick washer with a hole drilled in it for the spring to locate into and then wind around) probably needs to be turned back past the stop washer. downside with all that is that there is nothing to hold any part in place when building these up other than your hands until youve done the bolt up as that holds it into place. hmm...
Amusingly (for Raask bashers) you can see in the lower pic how the pushrod has touched the bolt on the brake actuating lever and left a mark, not ideal and not great design as such, fine in use of course, but meh. heehee I love these, proper auld skool!
