I ride my 31k also on track of Zandvoort. I like to have compress and release damping adjustable front and rear. My low budget solution is a R6 shock with stiffer spring in stock swinger. Front fazer 1000 43mm rwu with 4w oil. May be a bit weaker springs are preferable. But sofar it works for me. I weigh 90kg.
My advice is establish first where you want to use your bike for. On the street it is not that demanding. I have seen a lot of hybrids which are not set up properly on geometry and sag. So keep this in mind😉

What is the voltage of your battery after a week? Should be. 12,7 at least. I put a small resistor in the tacho wire. This operates as a low pass filter including spikes.

Mmm repacking easy, circlips, longer muffler enlighten us. If you have pics of the parts. 👍 30 april is next session. I probably prepare the 750srad. Ps The pwk30’s with velocity stacks ran so well. Bumdyno said well over 70rwhp. 7plate clutch was not 100% coping. 😤

It is not difficult to make a good looking hybrid. To get the geometry sorted and the springrate., that is the key to make good laptimes. 🤓

So what? I am sorry if this sounds brutal. But how many engines have actually failed using different numbered upper and lower case? I am going to rebuild an engine with different numbers. I probably start winter 2022. I will check the cranck bore and both drive bores.

Today i received a reply from the manufacturer
Hi Marcel!
Your fiberglass be perfect, I assure. With 10.000 km, the fiber glass may be soaked in oil and, the noise increase a bit but... if you it change, I think not it improves
a lot. The fiberglass you should change 20.000 - 30.000km but depend of the % oil that you use.
If you need reduce the noise, you will need more lenght and/or more silencers diameter but... this no run with the perfect performance with our pipes. More lenght
give you more rpm but less PAR
Other option would be install dbkiller at outlet pipes but only fit to straight outlet pipes and you have curved outlet pipes (the performance worsten also, more
in fact that more lenght and/or diameter)
Let me know if I can help you in any way.
Many thanks!
Un saludo/Best regards
Roberto Campo

Hello smokers Yesterday i got a warning for noise on the new track of Zandvoort. I can’t check if packing is still OK after 6000km because the cans are poprevited. Any advice? Cheers Marcel

Yes they do. But a dccdi1race with waisted spark is also supplied for rd350ypvs and 500 Today I received another email from ignitech.
Cylinder in BDC has not compression, so there spark occurs approx. at 1000 V. If spark occur - it is "shunt" (short circuit) for secondary winding of this coil. Coil is transformer, so that shunt at secondary winding will be transformed to primar winding (also shunt).
In compression cylinder will spark occurs at approx. 10000 V.
Serial connection function so, that non-compress coil is shunt and compress coil works. Non-compress circuit will eat approx. 1/10 of energy, compress circuit approx. 9/10 of energy. Principle with one coil with two outlets is similar. Non-compress circuit make shunt at one coil output, compress circuit works at second coil output. Parallel connection of coils will works, but non-compress coil will to eat bigger part of energy compare to serial connection.
I replied Ok, thanks Jiri But this is how the the rd350 original works. Then is a 2 channel better I understand that. The racing coils have common ground for both primair and secundair winding. When you serie connect both coils there is one secundair which is not connected to earth. How bad is that?

If you connect them in series you will half the voltage to each one Don't think the Iggy or Zeel likes not resistor plugs so if you for coils with too low a primary resistance it would have the same effect Steve Yes i agree on halfing the voltage when in series. But there is another thing with these racing coils. The secudairy coil is one end connected to the spark and the other one to the common black earth. So if you serie the primaries one secundairy coil is not connected to earth. When i am going to test these coils i will run them with the primary coils paralel. That is the same as running the banshee coils I believe.

Reply from Jiri from Ignitech :
Maybe is possible to use IC-CDI-F (22 EUR each) in serial connection (not parallel).
But I think there will not benefit compare to original double output ignition coil.

It is not easy to measure the primair coil resistance. Just measured it again. They are about 0,4 Ohm

They look familiar to the light weight racing coils from Igni. I will ask Igni for the suitability on waisted spark on pv with dccdip1race.

The primary coil is about 0,7 Ohm. With both these coils paralel it be 0,35

Hi Dave, most of the YPVS's with Kenny's pipes on that I've done have gone up 2 sizes on the mains, I've had a couple that ran fine on standard, but most have gone up, have had one that went down on the main to fuel right, but that was an exception HTH And that was with standard airbox with all the baffles and ducting???

I have a different mod. I found the airbox bellows restrictive. So I replaced them by alu stacks. Without moving the box i push the stacks futher in the box. Room enough.

Good to hear, hopefully the lads will progress to the top tier. I'd like to see Rossi have a great year. It may well be his last in GP. Anyone know why he's called the doctor? Alex His nickname came about as they said he could fix any bike, i.e. take a shite bike and make it win. That really went down the pan when he went to Ducati !! There was a doctor Rossi in one of the first a 70’s soap. Just another joke😜 amp.nos.nl/artikel/685829-dr-rossi-peyton-place-overleden.html

This will be a battery powered unit I presume? Check this first. For a pv you can check the startup cycle.
