Wim Hof has lot of followers here in NL. Even my wife swims everyday in a lake. No protection. 3 times a week we go together. But i like to crawl and use neoprene. She calls me a wimp. And i agree🤗😉

I tried a solid connection but then one of the pv grinded. Some flex was needed with my setup. May yours not.

Thx Steve My head is a bit slow from hospital toxic. Left my appendix there.
Just to get this a bit clear. 15mm axle, reducer, 20mm tube. I think that is a solution. I have a couple of needle bearings somewere laying around. Can’t remember the sizes. I will check szr drawings if there are bearings involved.

I measure through the plug hole with rosin solder. I make a curve in the a piece about 8" long and feed it in. I measure, as above, at the 4 points and take an average. The advantage over the above is that you can check after the final assembly, as the solder does not stay inside. Make sure you use the leaded solder as the lead free stuff will also be harder to compress. The problem with poking a bit of solder into the cylinder is you really need to measure 4 + points at one go, When you poke a single or 2 pieces in, the piston will rock and you'll not get a proper measure because of piston rock.... That is why I only measure on the sides😉

Abs is more like a thermo harder then a thermo plast. I found epoxi and a bit of fiber the best

Lots of electronic related tips. When there is load issue, i think fuel. Check fuel cap breather, tap, floath valves. I ditched the vacuum operated tap. It is a pita. Take a 8mm tap with proper fuel lines. Never ever you want it to burn lean.

Sometime i do a test if a fuel attracts water at al. If so I don’t use it in carbureted bikes. Take a sample in a glass and leave it outside. If a mist is formed in the toplayer after a few minutes, it attracts water.

Bit of an update - 1 x PV cable wrapped all around the pully servo end - so removed both cables from servo end completely - direct connection now to the servo and the servo just rotates freely - keeps turning one direction under power - Opened the unit up to see if anything amiss on the servo/potentiometer connections - all look ok - so decided to retest resistance- one circuit is now showing zero resistance so I am assuming the potentiometer is fooked - Blue/Yellow to White/Black now = 8.9 Blue/Yellow to White/Red = 8.89 White/Red to White/Black = 0.00 ( no good ) anyone know if these are repairable ?- anyone done it ? I can’t remember 100% but wasn’t the potmeter 1500 Ohm?

Inspect the battery first. The symptoms you described relate to that. New battery can be wrong. Even the voltage unconnected can give you the illusion it is ok. But has to be loaded. So switch on you light and brake light and measure voltage again. Does it keep 12,4V ? So all measurement done without the engine running - battery shows 12.7V Ignition to On = 12.5V headlight ON and Brake Light On = 12.1 Would have thought this be sufficient ? - its a brand new battery ? Not too bad. But it can be better.
