Hold your breath guys as there are plans for ypvs multis in the pipeline . My own ypvs 3 cylinder will be the development mule for 2 ypvs 4-cylinder motors. They will be more difficult due to offset stud spacing but will be future proof.mine will be non powervalve banshee cylindered but using valves won't be an issue paired to an ignited controller. I remember i met a guy with an aircooled rd700 in the lakedistrict. Absolute awsome to do a rd700lc👍

I can imagine that running in piston and rings gives more resistance and wear. Combined with low coolant flow over the barrels it getting too hot. You can do an experiment with 2stroke oil. A few drops in the pancake on the furnace. Or in a temerature controled hot air oven. I guess any oil will laquer at 300C.

Do you mean the chrome ring around the light. Or the rubber at the bulb? In that case it is only for splash protection. I converted it to led. Not shure if i will use some silicone kit to be vapour resistant to exclude moisture on the mirror.

Choose the size witch goes the size of the rim. Otherwise the shape of the tire is wrong.

Use a TZR 250 2ma sprocket carrier it is much narrower and fits straight in th SZR wheel. Chain will line up and all you need is a 2mm spacer each side take up the gap. May be easier to use the 2ma caliper and mount too I got the carrier with the wheel brake and suspension as a package. The tzr parts are quite rare in holland. I will let it mill. There is space and flesh enough. Milling is cheaper than buying another carrier. And offset sprockets are not the best way to go in my opinion. I will post my measurements for szr swaps😜

Thx Toby I have now a new anker stud on the swing. On the sprocket side i have a 13mm wide collar. The sprocket holder i took the 15mm ring out. Chainalignment will be done by milling the sprocket holder. Next job. Here some pics.

Well mbte and etbe are aethers which can swell some rubbers. Ethanol keeps also burning temperture low. Which is what you want. The downside is that ethanol attracts water in your tank. In winter i park my bikes with non ethanol. Such as 102 octane firezone. And in summer on track i use e95 or e98.

Hello smokers I am Marcel from Haarlem in Holland. Like this forum. So i have to give some in return. I am rebuilding my 1983 31k. Fazer 1000 front is in. But i like to keep the original swinger. And want modern 17” tires. So szr are plenty available in holland. This is belgarda as you call it. But the szr sprocket hub is probably wider than the tzr125’s. Today I took the sprocket hub 4su apart. And good news is that ring can be taken out for fitment. This gives 15mm more space at the left wheel adjuster. Next job is to shorten the hub and bring the chain alignment 9mm inside.

Hi If you are using a Tzr125r Belgarda caliper carrier, You will struggle to mate that to the stock pv carrier boss that is on the inside of the swingarm. That's why I had to chop it off and do the torque arm mod. Dusty Thx David for info. Here szr660 to be fit in 1983 31k swingarm. Doing the torque arm mod. Looking for a fazer torque arm now. Chain alignment i have to take 9mm of the sprocket hub. The left axel collar length to be measured.

The carrier boss should be for axel travel for chain length adjustment. I have to choose between the rod mod and the boss mod. Here some pics.

Interesting! I have a 31k 1983 swinger with different axel adjusters. I will try to match the slotted part to the swinger.
Fz1 front now. Lookes badass with 43mm legs

Why a rod to the footrest ? I m trying to fit brake bracket to the slots of the pv swinger. Maybe i have to alter the slot. Waiting for a szr sprocket hub now. Which collars did you use for wheel alignment? And chain alignment?
