Before dynoing i trusted my seat of the pants dyno. It took me a year to setup my jetting to my spannies and empty airbox. When i went to the dyno i knew it was reliable and poky enough. 68rwhp with stock carbs. My advice is start rich and enjoy the process. You learn a lot of this on your own. 🤗

I wonder if its possible for someone to invent something that can absorb water vapour inside a fuel tank? Maybe integral to the tank with a drain ability? Bit like a diesel system that separates water from diesel before the injectors. Maybe manufactures will pick up on this if E10 proves problematic in the near future. It is better to prevent coming moisture in the tank. The tank breathes. Just tape a sandwich sack on the fuel cap during winter. And use a ethanol free fuel. Test the fuel in a jar and expose it to the air. Just watch the haze.

E10 avoid it I am happy with e5 but only esso shell bp. If you Google it, there are some petrol stations that sell super with no ethanol in but not all. Think BP is ethanol free. Sorry forgot to mention i am in Holland. 102octane is very rare these days. Only a very few stations deliver that. One distributor with less then 20 stations in Holland

The proof of the pudding is, take a glass put half an inch petrol in it and watch. Most of the time there is enough moisture in the air to change the liquid appearance. It forms a hazy misty milkish discolour. The ethanol attracts the water and forms a dispersion of water in petrol. Later this settles out leaving water on the bottom.

Put a piston ring in the bore at different heights. Check ring gap. This will give you additional info😉

Just a thought. Pv cycle on kickstart. Why? The only thing i can think of you’re wiggle the bike. Battery clamp, key switch, kill switch or what ever there must be a loose contact. Do you have a jiffy switch?

An inlet rubber leak and a crankseal leak differs in shape. Just a tiny hole for the inlet and the seal is like a valve with a certain threshold pressure. But this my imagination. 🤔

In order of hip pain: 98gixxer once did 1100km a day 83ypvs with clipons under the clamps 97k1200rs K100rs. This beemer is a sofa.

My engineer corrected one of the bores. It took him more time. He said You don’t want wrong forces on piston and bearing. But it depends on the angle. Left or right is worse than front or backwards.

Sorry guys. Measure twice and order once😤 The 44x25x1.5mm is too small. It has to be 45x25x1.5mm. A cagiva w16 600 1997 flywheel part has this washer.

Just curious. What is the better central? Hanging points of engine? Statical mass center? Dynamical mass center? Such as Middle of crank Middle of flywheel and crank together?

Just a thought perhaps you can bring the chainline closer to the tire by some hub adjustments. It is always convenient to have non offset stock sprockets.

Well you have democracy. But the people voted for a bleeched baboon and a noisy peac**k. In every democracy the people will get a leader that the people deserves. But I disagree to the 2 party system. That leads to hardened opinions and wrong decisions. I can understand why the Scots want to make there own decisions. I hope the best for Brits in the future, because i like them😉

If you have the proper bits to open it up then a vacuum cleaner and cleaning all the plugs and contacts helps.
