Hello smokers Yesterday i got a warning for noise on the new track of Zandvoort. I can’t check if packing is still OK after 6000km because the cans are poprevited. Any advice? Cheers Marcel

Drill out and re-rivet. Rivet guns are cheap.

Today i received a reply from the manufacturer
Hi Marcel!
Your fiberglass be perfect, I assure. With 10.000 km, the fiber glass may be soaked in oil and, the noise increase a bit but... if you it change, I think not it improves
a lot. The fiberglass you should change 20.000 - 30.000km but depend of the % oil that you use.
If you need reduce the noise, you will need more lenght and/or more silencers diameter but... this no run with the perfect performance with our pipes. More lenght
give you more rpm but less PAR
Other option would be install dbkiller at outlet pipes but only fit to straight outlet pipes and you have curved outlet pipes (the performance worsten also, more
in fact that more lenght and/or diameter)
Let me know if I can help you in any way.
Many thanks!
Un saludo/Best regards

In my experience the wadding is compressed/soaked within 1000 miles and it's a lot louder
I would not use a db killer as any restriction in the pipe diameter is likely to cause piston damage
You will need a longer silencer or the type with a circlip in the end so you can repack easily

Hi Marcel this is the reason my silencers are so long. It sounds a bit crappy but they are good for the track. They way they are made it's really easy to repack them as well. Maybe have a chat with Piet about it.

Mmm repacking easy, circlips, longer muffler enlighten us. If you have pics of the parts. 👍 30 april is next session. I probably prepare the 750srad. Ps The pwk30’s with velocity stacks ran so well. Bumdyno said well over 70rwhp. 7plate clutch was not 100% coping. 😤
