Forgot to say mark, the headlight is a cheap copy from Ebay, it was Β£30! Better than paying 6 times as much for a genuine oneπ the cans are in good nick luckily but down pipes are bad so I've wrapped them. Oh and your bike looks aceπ

Hi mark, I was going to do just as you have in leaving the top fairing, as the parts to convert it are so expensive, so I managed to find an n2 bracket which was minus the top mounts (was only Β£40 though) then managed to weld some pieces onto it to enable my f2 clock mounts to be fitted. I've managed to source some n2 clock fronts so over the winter I'll need to sort that but for now it worksπ

Thanks mate, I sold my 2011 blade I'd had from new last year, then bought this , and I don't miss the blade to be honest . Fantastic bikes mind but it was flat out everywhere I went. Not good. I've had some great help off lads on here too so really appreciate that. Thanks

Hi lads ,found out the forums are available using Tapatalk so here's a picture of my f2 I've been restoring, sunk a lot of money into it as you'll all know. Gone for the naked look as I prefer it to the fairings. Oh and yogi (matt) this is your old tankπ antos.

Thanks lads, well I suppose it could be that, the original tank was very rusty with plenty of shit in it so I had to get a second hand one from matt on here. (yogi) Would a blockage behind these brass balls affect the flat out running? As that's the only problem I'm having. Thanks again. Antos

Guys bit of help please, got a f2 new powervalves , seals, cables. Sometimes it'll pull the red line sometimes it's holding back , now I've been chasing my tail a bit on the bugger so it's had new banshee coils new reed valves, carbs to bits till I'm sick of them, tank checked tap cleaned out lines the works. Can you still get the ypvs controller or am I best of getting a zeeltech thingy? No idea what's involved really I'm pretty certain it's an electrical issue now can't be out else! Thanks antos

[/quote] I want one lol

Well I'm nearly certain it's electrical guys, been out tonight it pulls right round in each gear fine, but when I'm in top and at about 90-95 it cuts power instantly. No splutter just looses power feels flat, slow down and it's fine again, so either coils or as was suggested earlier cdi unit or generator. I'm thinking cheaper to try a coil first? Thoughts please? Cheers antos

Need a bit of help lads, My newly rebuilt engine has about 450 miles on her now and I'm giving her a bit stick now, but sometimes at around 8k it just falls off a cliff so to speak so I shut it off and bike seems fine, it doesn't always do it sometimes it revs all the way and pulls through the gears lovely, but it's a bit worrying any thoughts as to what it may be?
Fully rebuilt f2 engine new powervalves seals etc, carbs rebuilt new jets seats airline through them emulsion tubes etc. The timings fixed on these isn't it so I'm stumped

Everyone has different ideas I'm afraid, but from what I've read the rings are bedded in in the first 30 miles or so, this is the critical time to get a good seal, so up to say 6k shutting off throttle and letting it run down the revs apparently forces the rings out into the bores. I ran my new blade in this way and it never burnt a drop of oil! (Some did) I've got 300 miles on my freshly rebuilt f2 and I'm taking it up to 7-8k now in short bursts. after 500 or so miles and it'll be getting caned π

Been out this after lads and was enjoying myself when I could pull the clutch back to the bar ! It'd lost all adjustment, bollocks, so managed to get her home I've pulled the casing off and the adjuster has backed out of pressure plate? The nut hasnt come undone, it's blue lock tighted in . And is still tight on the thread, So how has the threaded adjuster came out of pressure plate? any thoughts lads? (It's done 100 miles since I rebuilt the whole bike )Thanks
