Not read anymore about it, other than the bit I got on the KTM forum. Tapatalk have been taken over, changed conditions, and some forums have said no thanks , not sure if there will be an issue here. ta for the update.

Hmm... considering the quality of many other of Legend's products, the brands reputation precludes purchase perhaps?

those were the bits that were unstealthy. They should replace those on new models.

Considering how bad the other parts of your bike were and how important forks are... its a really simple job to pull the legs and put oil in to be honest.
Peace of mind... bliss!

wow, 17 year thread resurrection! That’s got to be the oldest one!? Still, you can’t say anything about not searching the forum as this is obviously how it’s been revived. Jon Yep, The prize for using the search has already been awarded this month

Ive been saying it for years, you cant make a very modern styled LC with the OEM tank... yet people still do... Im know thats a 400 tank, but its still just wrong with the rest of the bike to my eyes.

always buy the best synthetic low smoke version I can find, going to be hard enough to run a petrol vehicle going forwards with all the snowflakes scowling, let alone one that is visibly polluting like a steam train.

Im sure its a bit bigger a production than say Mondo Enduro, but its defo no Wrong Way Bound.
I watched the Louisiana one as its one of my fave USA states and while it wasnt my perfect show, it did at least show the area off a bit... tho cos its TV they did do some weird things lol
We dont get too many travel biking shows on mainstream TV, usually we have to resort to Youtube so it was nice to see it really. I'd have preferred a youtube show for me as it would have been lower budget and more 'real', but this was pretty watchable and something a bit different.

Yep it is.. but its also a nightmare as I work out what it will cost me 'landed' and always cry in my beer after that and give up for another 3-6 months. So far ive not bought, I just cant justify the price of Beet Alfin side panels by the time I would get them here as they are double the item price at least as Andy says. Sad but true. That's just a lack of commitment, you can't want them enough 🤣 Steve PMSL!

Same stories year after year. Some happy, some sad. The search will prove that...
Anyway, Im not immune... Ive bought badly from them and been told that something that Ive found is a naff part has sold to hundreds of buyers and none complained and yet I couldnt make it work as it was junk. Yeah right. Unimpressive. But, the majority (98+%) of my transactions have been good and they offer VAT free sales, something not every UK supplier offers to us foreigners.
To be honest, its easy to moan, but find me a supplier I havent had a bad product off or a mis sent item and been given short shrift by the seller when Ive had an issue... but Ive bought a lot (a hell of a lot) of parts for RD/RZ bikes over the years and it happens. Some sellers you just have to keep using otherwise you'd not be restoring and building anything.

Ive heard of exy post as postage happens twice, plus youre paying them to send it how they want, plus wrapping fees... and no comebacks on something not being what you expected.

Sad to hear Swindon has gone that far downhill Al. Wasnt like that when I lived there, but that was 20years back almost. Sure it had its issues with theft but the UK's modern young person's scoot/MX bike and balaclavas is like some kind of apocalypse movie now when i see the footage. No where is perfect of course, we have plenty of crime here with gangs shooting eachother every few months, but we dont seem to have quite the same issues as the UK... not yet anyway. Hi Jon Yes I accept every large town / city has its issues When we moved to Swindon in 2007 it seemed the place to be with a low crime and a thriving town center But gradually over time the town centre has become run down, big companies like Honda have left and like you said the balaclava bike gangs are an epidemic Just the other month a teenager was stabbed and killed not two hundred yards from where I live just for his coat by three teens on e-bikes and balaclavas What I don’t understand it the lack of basic law enforcement (and a decent justice system too) as lots of times the police just sit there and the biker just gives them the finger and continues on so I understand why it is happening as they feel untouchable and if that trend of “law enforcement” continues nothing is going to change Oh well like I said no point in moaning as it not going to change so like I said time to move away from the city and back out away from the masses once we have got Logan my eldest into Uni Take it easy Best wishes Al Im with you Al. I was sad to see how Swindon has gone downhill when I last visited. It was never very 'towny' if im honest post 2000, but in 2023 the center felt more like a rough estate than a modern place. Part of that could have to do with lack of investment, not least as the locals chose in the early 2000s to spend less of their money on council tax instead of having the council improve things, which was a weird decision and didnt bode well. I agree the stories of UK (and here too) law enforcement is very lack lustre now, bleeding hearts have taken the bite out of the job i reckon and as you say without any teeth it will only get worse. Will it take some kind of public uprising against crime to happen to fix that? back in the 90s an ex boxer cleaned up Manchester Rd of the prossies, I doubt he did that by chatting and a cuddle... just sayin. Yep, time to move away, but really this should be fixed and you shouldnt have to. I know we spoke before and that was alays in your plan, mine too, but its sad to think about it getting worse over the years. Blighty isnt what it was

Is the tourmax tap worth buying thanks Plenty of us use the Tourmax, in fact most of us. Lots of threads about it on here. Always worth a search if wondering about stuff like this as you'll find the info rightaway.

1J7s I would think - part numbers easily found on here for anyone wanting some for sensible money.
Be aware that not all have the Yam logo, some just say 'Toyo'*, but all are the same mirror.
IMHO Its a nice set of mirrors, but defo not this money.
At times supply is sketchy, but they are still available new from dealers. I can see them listed etc. I just checked, but from anywhere but this listing.
And... of course, sold by one of our forum traders.
Anyway, I use em on LCs as they are much better than aftermarkets. The trade off for me is that Id rather put up with the chrome than have floppyness. The difference is night and day quality wise.
* - Toyo is the OEM for most (all?) Yam mirrors. Big Japanese company, also makes tyres.
