Just make sure that you have cleaned the system thoroughly before using it as it will react with normal brake fluid and fubar any seals.

A faulty stator can give you the same problem.

A bit of good news for me, ebay's christmas present is they have removed his negative feedback that he left for me, they have been looking at trends on accounts and his must have been flagged up as being a chancer...

As above if you turn it upsidedown there is a hole - press inside with a flat blade screwdriver or similar to push a plastic retaining barb in - at the same time pull twist out the switch assembly.

Theres only the PV fuse then the motor - check the fuse then the connector block the motor plugs into - might be a dodgy connection, either way the checks are in the info sent ;D

Before worrying about the signal from the Cdi, first thing to check is do the valves cycle when the ignition is turned on?

They are different but will fit into the LC2 - just make sure you have the spindle, chain adjusters and wheel spacers, but if you have the original exhausts these will fowl against the longer wheel spindle.

And, the carb tops belongs to LCs. So, remove these and use stock ones else your AC throttle cable will not fit in. Thanks for the information chaps, they are a set that came with some 350 spares so I really wanted to know what they were off. ;D

If it takes ages to start when cold, AND you have the choke out then its possible that the float bowls have been put on the wrong carbs at some stage.

Looking at the picture there is a locating part missing, should be part of the inner chrome ring - it might be broken off or could be the wrong light its difficult to say from the pictures.

I thought it could be done, sure I changed them back in the day. Remember cutting down an allen key to get it between the cylinders. In saying that it was such a pain you are as well taking the top end off, especially if you go through all the hassle and find they still leak cause either the bushes or the barrel is worn. Mine still leaked and ended up getting the barrels bushed by Stan Stephens while it was getting ported. Steve You probably can do it by cursing massively, but theres more chance of causing problems than its worth.

if they are the same as a lc round headlight.3 clips needed a bit fiddly.3 loops on inside of rim and on the headlight bowl. They aren't there is only one clip, the rest is done by the two adjusting screws.

The origianl ones with the raised YAMAHA logo are no longer available, Norbo doesn't do the originals either and if you look at the genuine master cylinder it has a later style top on it, thats why people end up paying these sort of prices.

Hi, anyone got any 31k footrests that I can buy off them? Someone's put tacky aftermarket ones on my bike and they don't fold out of the way when you're using the kickstart. Can be painful! Which 31K or doesn't it matter for you? Full set or just fronts?

Depends on whether you thoroughly cleaned out the seal grooves before installing new seals. Also some do, some don't use red rubber grease on assembly. Only when pushing backwards ?? Caliper bracket twisted perhaps?
