eBay - it's the same as a landrover one.
Discovery I think - do a search.

I'm LTD, so to speak.
You'll need to look into IR35 if you're going into consultancy, especially if only working for one company at a time

2 years.
It;s possible to get a letter from the company car insurers stating you've been on their insurance for X years & never claimed etc. Some insurers will take that, probably need a broker rather than t'internet to sort that out for you. I managed to do it after years of a company vehicle.

When mine ate the front of the pistons like that, it turned out to be undersize stingers in the exhausts.
You've not made any changes there have you?

I've just made up a frankencable, joined the PWK choke cables, originally from a rgv I think, to the top end of an early R6 switchgear which has a built in choke lever.
Had to hacksaw the splitter box apart, but after that just a bit of soldering to get the right lengths.
A lot better than the last bike, where I couldn't reach the RH choke with my gloves on.

can you? I need to make up different lower sections, that are a bit longer to cope with the pwk's - the standard one I have just isnt long enough. how do you take the cables out of the 3 way thing - it looks liek the joining thing is 2 piece and should come apart - does it? Alex Hacksaw.

Did a quick 20 miles on it tonight
Engine - stonking, mountains of torque, quite low geared, 3K is 55MPH, redlined at 7K & happy to rev round there.
Gearbox & clutch - light & nice - the biggest surprise to me, was expecting something Massey Ferguson
Belt drive - unobtrusive, you just wouldn't know.
Vibes - loads at tickover, disappear as soon as you get going
Handling - early days & spanking new front tyre, but seems excellent
Brakes - excellent, I believe it has a back one, but not tried it yet
Indicators - Bloody awful! 2 switches, one on each bar, baffling complexity for no gain
Best bit - the noise through the scorpion cans, and the baffles are still in.

e-bike for me.
The thing about Carole Nash that annoys me is that sponsor the custom bike show, but wouldn't insure any of the bikes there.
Since she sold out to whichever faceless mega-corp insurance company, they aren't worth considering if you have any mods to your bike.

buell for sure, but i draw the line at agricultural machinery....sorry dude, but if we all liked the same stuff.................... The motor is quite Buell-like 90 horses apparently. I looked at some Buells a few years back, the build quality was shocking - more rust than my '77 Voskhod. Maybe they improved in later years?

I love my Tractor I've had a Ducati, so didn't want another one, I found the riding position too extreme at low speeds round town etc. Tuono was also a possibility, but from looking at a couple I reckon the HD is better built.

I agree with all of the above Why why why Why not? You never know until you try. I'll give it a go for a while, see if it makes a good stable-mate for the YPVS & the T140 It's bound to be a better long distance bike than the XT660X that it has replaced

I've got a T140V, but the V bit is currently broken, awaiting some time to have a look. I can recommend www.hawkshawmotorcycles.com/ if you need bits

You can download an EBC catalogue full of this info.
My Hybrid with KR1s front end (now looeys) got brand new EBC disks cheap from eBay, cos someone just advertised them for a particular, unpopular kwak.
My FZR250 front ended bike got its new EBC disk from eBay as well, advertised for some Aprilia if I remember correctly.

That's right, earth the sender wire and the clock reads full hot.
Where did you earth it to? The engines are not well earthed, they don't really need to be, only temp sender & neutral light, so try earthing to the frame, or battery, just to make sure.

Woodruff, not rough
from Wikipedia
This type of key was developed by W.N. Woodruff of Connecticut. In 1888, he was awarded the John Scott Medal by the Franklin Institute for his invention.

The way the R/R works on these bikes, you need some charge in the battery for it to receive any charge.
If it's completely flat, then all the alternators output is dumped through the R/R.
Give it a charge with an external charger, then try again on the bike.

Yes Carole Nash here. The sweetener for me is the full UK/European breakdown cover. So long as your bikes are standard. CN refused my hybrid, but still sponsor the custom bike show..... go figure
