can you?
I need to make up different lower sections, that are a bit longer to cope with the pwk's - the standard one I have just isnt long enough.
how do you take the cables out of the 3 way thing - it looks liek the joining thing is 2 piece and should come apart - does it?
Alex

Alex Hi Alex, I used the elbows from allens performance and mine was a little short so just ground down the lock nuts to allow a couple of extra mm. Either that or get a die and cut the threads deeper. Hope that helps. Steve

Yeah that's what I did aswell, you don't want to be pissing about making cables longer just cut an extra couple of mm on the elbows & they work fine

I've just made up a frankencable, joined the PWK choke cables, originally from a rgv I think, to the top end of an early R6 switchgear which has a built in choke lever.
Had to hacksaw the splitter box apart, but after that just a bit of soldering to get the right lengths.
A lot better than the last bike, where I couldn't reach the RH choke with my gloves on.

I found that the OEM cables fit mn my pwks But I didn't use carb top metal elbows as they weren't necessary and on my bike they were in the way. Yes the OEM splitter top just unsnaps .

I have cunningly modified (ok read bodged) the lower cables by adding spacers to the carb elbows that are adjustable, so its all the right length and can also be adjusted.....
now all I need is the bloody thing to actually decide to run on both cylinders at once, so I can start the jetting process.......
half-day today, so will get a couple of hours at it.......
