I live in Ramsey most of the time. I know the entire course pretty well but the Mountain section (unrestricted starts earlier when TT not on) like the back of my hand . Fantastic on summer evenings when what little rush hours traffic there is has finished. Almost got the entire Mountain section to yourself.

Did you go back to your blocked list and check he's in there correctly ?. I know that if you spell the username wrong it doesn't tell you, it just doesn't add it

I was thinking it might help to keep a similar temp to outside thus reducing the condensation. The problem is that metal objects take ages to change their temperature but the air doesn't, so once the metal objects are cold and the ambient temp around them goes up, you've had it. That's why you've got to keep the room temperature fairly consistent, at least not to change much quicker than the metal objects themselves can do the same. If the room temp can change quickly, then you'll get condensation whenever you have cold, then a fairly quick temperature rise.

Thanks looey, just read through the old posts. Been in the garage this morning and it’s bone dry so confirms exactly what has been said. Think some more ventilation would help but obviously not cure the problem. Yeah ventilation will help everything dry quicker but also help the condensation appear quicker on everything, as it will make the temp change quicker in the garage when it changes outside.

They look good, I assume you need to buy the associated riser clamps for them ?.

There's been a long discussion about it on here before, I'll see if I can find the a link to the post. Basically it's not how cold or warm it is in there, or the amount of airflow (though that will help dry stuff that has got condensation), it's rapid temperature change that causes the condensation problem. The temp has been cold ish for the last few days, so everything metal gets very cold (and holds it), then yesterday we had a warm front come over the country, so the outside temp went up, that warmer air hits everything cold and that's when the condensation happens. Basically to avoid condensation, you need to keep the garage temperature stable, even in a sealed non heated garage, you won't get condensation until you open the garage door when the temp is warmer outside, which allows the warmer air to enter and hit everything cold My current garage is integrated to the house but not heated. It was colder in there yesterday than outside but nothing got any condensation because I didn't open the door, if I had, I would've had the same problem as you. It's a bummer for sure

I never sell anything in eBay unless I get a "£1 Max Selling Fees" Offer. I reckon I get at least one or two a month and got another one today valid till Monday. That way it's free to list, £1 selling fees, plus the Paypal if it's not a Cash on Collection item. But if it doesn't sell before the next £1 max sellers fee offer it reverts to their 10% fee, guess how I found that out? That is true but it does say when you list. I set a calendar reminder for 30 days and end them all before they end and automatically renew. Don't need to often though, as you usually get another offer before the 30 days is up, so I just end and re-start for another 30 days. It's a dirty trick though, they're basically hoping you don't notice the note about auto relisting with full Final Value Fees

The Renthals are available in a dark grey colour which is my choice. But everyone knows really that Flat/Drag bars are the best on a modified LC

They do come up a bit wide for me, so I fit everything on both sides and work out how much equally I can cut off each end

If you post a link to a club that's only accessible if you're a member, it's obviously not going to work unless you're a member ? lol That's not why, I am a member on both sites and it doesn't work for me either. The link works for me if I'm logged in to the site, but if I'm not, I get the message "Access to www.aircooledrdclub.com was denied" ?

Looks like VM16/210 is the part.
I've just fitted a used one that works ok on the wife's 350LC but might invest in a new one at that price.

It's all to do with the Photobucket wanting a lot of £££ to carry on allowing forum links to pictures hosted.
I use chrome browser and installed a free Extension called "Photobucket Hotlink Fix", all the pictures are visible now just like before.

My suggestion was for the regulator getting too hot and the voltage a bit low when running, not the misfire ?.
When my 125LC had an intermittent misfire (especially at idle), it turned out to be the CDi unit. They sometimes get bad joints inside when they are old.
Just a suggestion

Shouldn't be that hot, and sounds like your regulator is not working properly, as the voltage should be more like 14.4v at those revs.
Things is, putting it simply, the generator creates more power than is needed in AC, then the regulator rectifier converts to DC and also has to get rid of any excess power that's not being used (which is most of the heat generated).
What's it like with the headlights on ? (voltage and temperature of regulator ?) because there should be less energy for the regulator to get rid of with the headlights on, so shouldn't get so hot.
I'd try another reg/rec if you have one.

I, as well as most, am well aware of the problems us humans are creating for the future but....... The problem with most of these kids protesting, is that they are just as much of the problem the way THEY live their every day lives. How many of these kids (that could) walk to School instead of being taken one mile in a Gas guzzling 4x4 ?. I bet most around the world have air conditioned classrooms, the latest mobile phone, X-boxes, a TV in every room in the house they live, eat junk food on a regular basis ? bla bla bla. Just slightly hypercritical (but possibly in pure ignorance) Very well regurgitated hyperbole. I took my 10yo daughter and her friends downtown for the march last Friday. We rode the public bus there and back. We walk to school and home every day. No AC in her classroom, she wishes she had a phone and vid game but Dad says no, etc. Regardless, your post shows you’ve just been duped by the right wing corporate spin machine. Congratulations! Well aren't you just so fantastic . Problem is, whilst you're living in your little Mr Perfect Family Eco World, you're in the minority. How many other kids and families that participate in these protests live the perfect Eco life that you obviously do ?. Have a nice life........ I'm out
