Quite agree with Dusty and Veg, i would say paint BUT in my experience it is a lot more expensive and frames are tricky things. I had one done by an 'expert' and there were bits he missed, i.e no paint. Had it re-done as powdercoat in satin and it looks fantastic, much better than i thought and a third or the price, but this is on a hybrid.

Besides the fueling check for a weeping floath valve or stuck oil non return valve. Yes, my 31k runs rich on the left hand cylinder, it fouls the plug every now and then. I spoke to 'Arrow' and he says it is the 'check valve' in the oil pump not shutting off the supply of oil to the carb when the engine is not running, it is no biggy, i just need to get the pump off and send it to the magician 'Arrow' to do his thing! So, off i went to this today, thought i would be a bit late as i arrived at 9am, but no, i was the only two stroke!! What has happened i asked one of the staff, 'Oh it has been cancelled', Great! How was i supposed to know, i checked the website this morning and no mention of it being cancelled! Oh well i'll get a coffee as i'm here. Shortly after that an air cooled 250 and an LC arrived and after that a steady stream of bikes, seems not everyone realised it was cancelled! Anyway a few pics

Can i just ask, are you just using the standard temperature gauge or do you have a digital one, what sort of temperature was she getting up to?

Yes, that looks really useful, i went to see them as they do frame straightening too (it's how they started) and they straightened my 31k frame after i fell off. I didn't realise they did a kit for 'powervalves', i wouldn't mind one myself.
Steve does it take up a lot of room when not in use?

Hey Tobyjugs, bike is looking stunning! Glad you are spending time getting the suspension sorted, it will be well worth it. As far as the stand goes, it looks like an 'ABBA' stand, they are UK based abbastands.co.uk/HTH Mouse

Quite agree, i understand why he doesn't retire, his love of racing and his incredible talent, but (and i am a huge fan of his) you can see that his age is against him and it is sometimes sad to see someone who was the best in the world slowly slipping down the rankings.
However, this season is so weird, maybe one more World Championship??
Now that would end his career on a high!

Both really interesting docs, especially the Kim Newcombe one, what an incredible story, nearly winning the world championship on a basically homemade bike!! But a very sad end, i see V. Cooper made an unwelcome appearance in this too. What a vile man, how on earth was he allowed to run the ACU like that!!
Thanks for posting
