Hi Matt Tamsyn at Metmachex will be the one to ask. The only arm I bought with a chain guard was from Dean when he was at Metmachex engineering in 2015. I prefer them without a guard so have never ordered one with a chain guard since. I will see if I can find a pic of the one I had  Dusty  |

My bloody PC keeps playing up  I get an internet connection then it drops out for a few minutes, then I can reconnect (sometimes). It's driven me mad this last week I am struggling to upload pics from Flikr as they time out ! I'm on it - may just take time. Dusty |

Matt I assume it’s for a 4l0 then? Can’t you fab something up? I bought a carbon guard for mine then cut it down to fit. Looking at this one that shouldn’t be too hard to fab one.

I think the chain guard was £25 from Dean. It's a simple tab welded onto the swingarm with 2 threaded holes to take the 2 fixing bolts. Worth speaking to Tamsyn - Metmachex swingarms are very different to when Dean was in control - they are a delight to deal with now. Note that generic chain slipper on my swingarm - the third bolt hole hangs over the edge of the arm !!  That was £25 extra too  Bobbins were £25 extra, and straight pull slot chain adjusters were £60 extra !! I always felt the chain guard looked quite long, and prefer mine without, but I'm sure you could make something up if Tamsyn doesn't have something to suit. Dusty |

You have to bare in mind the eccentric adjusters and the position of the chain guard and the looks hence why I did my own interpretation.

What I would like is a small "hugger" in ali, that would fit to the top loop - a bit like the angular one the early R1 had. I think that would look trick on a Met arm The chain guard was definitely too long for my liking, but each to their own Dusty |

Dusty Dusty, I had something similar and looks like it was an unwanted update from Windows. I'm on Windows 7 which is now unsupported, but I had an auto-update for some Windows 10 software which caused havoc. I returned my laptop to an earlier software date and turned off updates and seems to have solved it. Fingers crossed. Shaun. |

Cheers for that info. My desktop is 10 years old now and has been playing up for some time now. Lately the modem issue has got worst - last week it would hardly connect at all. I've had my moneys worth out of it to be fair, and I think its time for an upgrade. It took me 15 minutes to upload that swingarm pic, the modem broke down that many times !🥱
