Well I was 3/4 through my dry build when I was putting on the body work and noticed the rear tail light and rear fender was just way out of alignment. I've pondered over a solution for a couple of weeks and just decided to ditch the frame and locate hopefully one that hasn't been used a asphalt sled.
Well today pulled engine, rear end front end and put all back into another frame. Well I've got to admit it's nice when everything lines up, chain alignment is perfect and subframe sits in the middle of the rear tyre. Happy days!!

What will be the wiring configuration into the back of the tachometer?

I have a 4Lo wiring loom connected to a 31k ypvs stator and rotor and am wondering how to hook up the tachometer from a 85-86 (electric) ypvs set of clocks?

Yes I felt that England was not aggressive/confident enough to declare at 100 runs in front and send the Aussie's back in. If they had done this I would be confident of an English victory. Don't feel bad, the Aussie's don't play with confidence either and it's only the skill/determination of Steve Smith that has saved them.

Maybe the rain has saved the Aussie's and denied England of its maiden win. But there is still 98 overs of play, as long as the weather plays its part so if England come out and be aggressive there is still time.

Sorry, poms were rubbish. Beaten convincingly in 3 tests. Back to the drawing board fellas.

Well what can I say, the Aussie's have regained the ashes in the 3rd test by an innings and 41 runs.

Looks like the weather has saved England as a blows about 30 knots and pisses rain, plus the curators have allowed the pitch to get wet overnight.

I honestly believe Smith is to conservative. In the last session on day 3 the English were beat, and Smith should have taken to their bowlers, but he still played very defensively. My theory is once your foot is on the opposition throat, you don't let it off.

Well if you haven't been watching the 3rd test in Perth, I suggest that you don't start. Not going at all well, but we didn't really expect much of the poms then did we.

You mean to say that you sold him a part, he complained they he didn't receive, gets a refund, then advertises the part for sale...
Please tell me your joking.

Well what can l say, the Aussies are kicking your Arse. Probably not time zone friendly for the poms to watch but I must say the 2nd test in Adelaide had me worried that we just might get beat. But true to form the poms collapsed leaving the bahmy army awfully quiet. Bring on the next test!

A big thanks to JonW as he sent me a photo of a headlight assembly he has waiting for one of his many projects. Lesson learned that for no matter how simple you think a job is like the orientation of a spring, photos before disassembly can relieve hours of frustration.

I have a American RZ (ypvs) round headlight that I took apart to clean and have surround re-chromed. Problem is unable to recall how the one clip holds glass to surround. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

There is no doubt the reproduction tank and panels are a god send for the lc bikes and I for one would love the same for the ypvs.
On another note who and how did the new reproduction tanks for the lc come about.

Hopefully some have experience with the use of pod filters and tuning, with the ypvs and motors fitted with Athena barrels. Is one type of filter better than others and do spacers (velocity stacks) help and what length.
