My RG leans over a bit further than I like on the side stand is this normal?

There are 2 style of stands. A straight leg and one with a bit of a shaped/contoured end. They should be the same length. However the saggy std. shock makes the bike sit upright. If you add a height adjuster or a half decent rear shock, the back end stands taller and the bike leans over a long way on the side stand. Solution is have an 1" or 2 welded in the middle of the stand you have at present. Test it with a piece of 3x2 under the foot to get the bike standing at the angle you are happy with.
