Just imagine how great it’s going to look though? Sometimes you just have to forget about deadlines when you’re waiting for others, every time Nk says 6 weeks I double it and add 2 weeks and at least it’s winter. www5a.biglobe.ne.jp/~uta/model/uta/uta_s58519_m01.jpg

That nugget in Hartlepool told me and my mate he never changed the check valves because " I,d rather 2t oil leaked into the cases and helped lube everything!!!" Obviously never heard of hydraulicing and bent rods.. As Alexei Sayle once said 'I'd rather be up here shouting spite than down there spouting s**te ' 70 quid but you have peace of mind. The bike Rob had drained over half a tank of 2t overnite never did find out where it went certanly wasn't on the floor....

When I got my carbs bored by Mark dent he fixed the check valves but I’ll go belt and braces better that than syphoning two stroke from the crank case Yer man from Hartlepool is a bellend that just shows how dumb he is

do i need to have these on mine then? dont seem to remember seeing any on there. This is Stu's belt and braces. The carbs have the oil check valve in the body of the carb. Those Stu bought go inline on the oil feed pipe I got round it by putting a simple on off tap on the tank to pump 2T feed. That sits next to my inline fuel taps. I have to turn 3 taps on. left carbs, right carbs and oil pump. Never had a problem, never had a leak :-) Of course if you can't remember to turn a tap on then this solution isn't any use !!!! 016 by Philip Mellor, on Flickr

I’m not sure what they are off I got the number from the RGV forum ,you can get yam ones as well they are alloy . The ones in the carbs are behind the 2t spigot they are a spring and a ball bearing ,but they get stuck open allowing the 2t tank to empty into the crankcase ,if you don’t notice you could get hydraulic lock and bend something expensive .

Sod bike paints I've got a guy up here in a body shop in lewis and he will do a paint job in a week!! And as good as any of these bike specialist guys I've seen paint sets at stafford done by "professionals" and seen glass paper Mark's under the laquer.

But they also said they have a few things from last year to tidy up ,so not next week🤬 After me joking last week about my tank they called yesterday to say he had my tank in front of him and he wanted clarification on the top stripe I was all exited thinking it wouldn't be long but then the idea crept in that he was only looking at it to order the decals Time will tell 🙄 Steve

I should have got a quote! That’s got me worried now ,and itsnow four months and counting, maybe I should go and get it back before they start. Its the vat that's the killer. Was £350 before the tax man added his bit Mark Cordwell was only £250 for my last tank The LC at Bike Paints was £720 (£600 plus vat) and that was with no front muddy Four months is ridiculous Think you are looking at over a grand mate 😥 Steve
