Japanese one is flush - euro one sticks out beyond the tail panel. I'll take a picture:- |

Standard fitting on all euro RG500's and slabby GSXR750/1100's. Almost unobtainable now.

Just noticed you're in Queensferry - I'm in Kirkcaldy - there's an RG500 in my garage in bits just now also!

I dropped of the nose fairing from mine to Bike Paints last Thursday. Mine is stripped to a rolling chassis just now. Hope to make a start to the engine soon - just the usual problem of trying to find/make time.

I dropped mine of there on SATURDAY they said they had another in with a familiar story Is it just a refresh or are you modifying? If you are buying from Mark Dent allow plenty of time he is a nightmare

I managed to get hold of an upper fairing thats in pretty good condition. Only issue was it has the lower front indicators so its in to get the indicator holes filled and painted. Just prefer the look of the upped indicators. What are you getting done to yours?

It’s getting the bellypan altered to accommodate the expansions and a full paint job.

I managed to get a set of panels from the States. They're in pretty excellent condition with original colour and no repairs. Admit they have aged very slightly but the bikes 33 years old so I'm not too worried. Compared with the RD though - The RG isn't a cheap bike to restore!

You need to join the RGV250.co.uk/Forum as there is a dedicated RG500 section on there

You are best not asking about timescale
They told me 6 weeks and it took 11 🙄
I have a set to drop off but stalling in case I need the money for one of the other projects
