I’ve only drove it once I couldn’t see anything in the mirrors ,can you see in yours? All I can see is my elbows in std RG mirrors Just take them off. Looks less like Micky Mouse (unlike an RD500 which will always look like MM). You can fit RGV250 mirrors, they are usable and add quite a different look to the 80's nose cone. You need the special nuts for the RGV mirrors. |

My mistake - They were from a GSXR600 K5 not an RGV250. It's a fiddle but they fit

You've done such a great job on this And I agree, I like this paint scheme. The Rg is such a beautiful looking bike - so much better then the Rd500 in my opinion. Two of my mates had them way back - a standard white/blue, and the other was the Skoal Bandit white/green. Awesome bikes at the time  Dusty |

Got a fibreglass bellypan from skidmarx not bad quality ,but it doesn’t fit with the fat expansions from mark dent ,I did ask him if there would be any fittings issues and he said the bellypan would fit no problem 🤬
so the whole bike is going to Cupar bike paints and they are going to alter it to fit🙂

Remember getting a grp lc2 belly and it touched one exhaust 🙁
Genuine was fine.
You are doing the same mistake as me, finishing a bike in time for winter 😂
