cheers Yogi, this has been the hardest part of the build for me, when i saw bazzers 421 in the magazine i was totally blown away by it, everything about it is perfect imo, the paint job makes the bike, just dont want to make an ar*e of it at this stage Be daring and go for something different,,it's your vision i have a spare tank that i have been masking up decals on, its been a busy couple of weeks at work, so i wont get near it this week, but your bang on buddy, cheers for the advice

You should be able to get something quite nice for £4000, so why spend £3200 on one that needs 2k+ spending on it? Totally agree

No it wont fit a $LO sorry Yes i all so know a bloke the same bloke who does get 103BHP from his bike . But i would not recommend it your better of sticking to it standard. This is cheep he is again correct they do normaly sell for just under a grand . I do them at £750 but then i do them very cheep so this kit is a bargen . Not having the valves is not a set back they perform great and give a good kick in the pants when in the band. keeping it %100 standard with no tuning just ignition carbs and pipes you would get a good 80 to 85 BHP with the 4mm stroker crank and keep it reliable . If your looking for an up grade id get this kit its a good price and even if you dont fit the 4mm crank and keep it just under 400cc not a 421 you will still get good bhp and far more power then the stock ypvs
With just keeping the 392cc kit, how much HP can that kit make ?
Looking at these but going 421 gets expensive with the 4mm crank etc
I would be talking 392 Athena kit PWK 28 carbs V Force Decent pipes
What would the above make ?
Cheers
Yeah second that, would like to know the hp,thinking of this route also

Hi Andy, the bike looks awesome mate, well done. How did you get on with the R1 clocks? easy enough? what speed sensor did you use? I still wonder what chance of using a KOSO unit into the speedo drive, would be easier then the sensor in L/H engine case. Phil Hi Phil, R1 clocks set up is straight forward enough, all the info is in the other thread, using the healtech v4 speed healer, I think the koso would be easier Cheers Andy

Hi Andy, the joys of the final straight of the rebuild are set to test us Ha!!.You spend as much time again going over the wee niggles to get it just right on but don't give up as it is always worth it in the end. 50/50 on some Chinese stuff- either top kit or piss poor. The chance ye take I'm afraid. Your bang on regards Chinese stuff, but I know a guy who can repair it, so it ain't all bad

Thanks Dusty and yogi, nearly done, already thinking of the next project, I've got about 80% of the parts to build it, it's going to be as standard as possible 31k, same style as the new addition that mouse got, would love to try and get it like the one midlife crisis has just posted, but that might be a step to far

This is looking great! Regarding short levers, i use Pazzo ones, they are not the cheapest, but do long and short versions with lots of colour combos plus really well made, the only problem is they do not list a fitment for RGV perches, i use GSXR600 K1-3 Mouse cheers mouse, found a set in france for 57 quid, andy

20180409_172534 by andrew mcgarvey, on Flickr need to replace the headlight brackets, just dont think they look right. i have also had a fair bit of hassle from a company called mcspeed for a pair of short levers, emails and phone calls, no reply, took up a claim through paypal and got a refund, struggling to find a set, anyone recommend a place, should have the bike running by the weekend, still trying to decide on a colour, changing my mind like the weather. cheers andy
