Hi I have a 31k engine in an f1 chassis with f1 clocks...the engine rev counter drive is mechanical and the f1 clocks are electrically driven...I am wondering if there are loom differences required to make the electrically driven rev counter work?

Top hat spacer I made Is essentially a Bush to increase the diameter of the ypvs steering stem to fit the diameter of the zxr top yolk..

removed stem from ypvs yolk, and machined down slightly, machine out zxr stem bore slightly to fit ypvs stem, parted off zxr stem above the yolk and milled down flush, pressed ypvs stem into zxr stem bore, and will weld ypvs stem to zxr stem....made top hat spacer for top yolk, new ball race bearings fitted, modded zxr yolk to extend lock stops to engage with ypvs stop tab on frame...anyone see any issues with this approach?

Hi Guys,
I have finally got around to starting my build...the front end will be a zxr 400 usd conversion and I am looking for information on what is involved in pressing the steering stem out of the ypvs triple tree.
I know the stem is welded to the yolk, but i am wondering how much material needs to be removed from the underside of the yolk to clear the weld...
Alternativelty does anyone have a pressed out stem the want to sell, or is able to do it for me, I'm in Poole Dorset.

So i now have the vj22 swing arm, gsxr 400 rear wheel, and bandit sprocket carrier, had to machine out the sprocket carrier inner spacer to fit the vj22 swing arm, so now i am going to order the bolt on kit from NK racing and begin work on the back end...anyone have any experience on these kits?

Hi All,
I just joined and am embarking on my first hybrid project. I have a 31k ypvs and am looking at doing front end, rear end and engine upgrades.
I have owned 4 ypvs 350's in the past, but not for 25 years! and just bought another one
Last year i did a complete nut and bolt build of a triumph t595 with a 2005 engine, and 1050 s3 usd front end
Any advice on
zxr400 front end
and back end conversions.....which back ends are simplest, cost effective, and effective?
Looking for a decent set of pipes ( not oem )
Any help would be greatly appreciated
