As Xavier says no restriction Really good price that was and a decent looking bike. My current lc2 is an Austrian one and never found anything unusual Just the normal steering lock on the headstock, euro headlight and km speedo Saved me from myself there lol Steve Thanks Steve It all untouched and looks pretty good in the pics but don't they all? Looking forward to getting a lc2 I have wanted one since the 80,s so I,ve been pretty patient (thats what i told my missus).

No restriction for Austria, only German version (31W) were restricted to 50HP. Your carbs and pipes should be stamped 31K... Xavier Thanks Xavier

Might have also started another divorce! I wanted to buy your lc2 but didn't want to interfere when the other guy showed an interest. Going to have to sell my f2/n2 though to save the marriage ( I can't cook for shit).

I seen on the news that certain police forces(Devon & Cornwall, where I live, included) have now said that footage from drivers dash cams sent in to them of bad driving will be followed up and prosecutions from that footage could happen. Could this be the end of a good old thrash out with your mates. With so much slow moving traffic in my area(loads of old pensioners doing such slow driving on brilliant fast twisty roads)plodding along with dozens of impatient drivers stuck behind them, and a constant stream of lorries, caravans etc coming the other way,the only way past them is a bit of enthusiastic overtaking crossing the double white lines etc. Does this mean to expect a knock on your door from local plod every time you go for a ride on your bike. I know I not interested in going for a ride on my bikes just to plod along in the never ending queue of mile after mile of slow moving traffic. Is this the end of motorcycling as we know it.😞😞 Devon and Cornwall Police have previous with this search you tube for Conway Bailey u turn. Gotta say he deserved what he got though.

Just noticed there is a some one near me on gumtree selling a full set of standard Rd 500 pipes for £ 125! ,If anyone wants them i could probably pick them up. Don't know who he is or what they are worth but seems cheap to me.

The bike above has a fake number to match the frame number that means that a previous owner re-stamped it or had the fake number put on the engine its not just a case of a previous owner buying an engine and fitting it thinking it was ok maybe a bit iffy ,so the culprit will possibly have his name on the dvlc records somewhere, if he did he a bit of a thick t**t.

On the same theme I had my F2 callipers rebuilt by Nick Chambers, who I think comes on here and they were like new when I got them back, real top class job I don't know how he does it for the price must be partly for the love of it.I reckon you could start a list of RD part refurb experts.

I know we shouldn't but anyone remember Tacky Black Gold bar with red seal, That hurt your lungs but very strong in the bong. Yeah I remember those days, hot knives till my throat burnt, then jump on the rd50 and down the garage for 5 packets of monster munch.( private road of course ) If I even smoked a cigarette these days I would probably keel over,

Its loads easier if you keep your f2 yoke and clip ons otherwise you need 31k forks because the lc2 bars hit the fork tops.

Following on from a earlier thread I need the brass spigot that connects the vacuum pipe to the carb body ,does anyone know where to get one from it must be a common part, or has anyone got a scrap 1Ua carb? Thanks

Thanks Jess and Matt Now found where it goes, I can see why I was confused as the brass spigot is missing where it the vacuum pipe joins the carb. Plus i put my glasses on! Where can i get the brass spigot from and what is the diameter for the vacuum pipe? Thanks again this has been doing my head in.

The engines been restamped Yeah kinda wastes the matching numbers Steve I agree that a re-stamped engine is moody, but whats the point of matching numbers on any hybrid where you are not trying for factory standard anyway?
