I still use the old clear pipe and jam jar method, works fine for me.. Always worked for me too That was until last year my lad bought a 125 Honda scooter Had to use syringe method (took a couple or three attempts to get right) Carl

I thought you only needed a spacer for the rgv stat as it won't open fully as it hits the head I thought the 50 and 71 were identical but maybe a schoolboy error I have no spacer and it's working fine Steve Just had better look on martins site says you need spacer to fully open yam stat?more confused now will have to message Martin for piece of mind Carl

Think you need a spacer for it? Carl Not on a ypvs. You just need to take the sealing ring off the 71 and fit to the 50 The fifty even has a bypass hole Steve Mmm bought 50 degree stat (gen yam item)sold with spacer for ypvs Not sure were I got it was a while ago so what's the spacer for Lc? I like that base gasket. Thats a sensible approach Definitely no overlapping on this one Matt Base gasket looks spot on mine very thin between cylinders were crankcase Has been ported Carl

Thanks, I know Yogi has one as well, but not sure that's been ridden yet either. hopefully see a few more replies Seen one for £160 so far, but there are a few different designs ones to chose from. Fitted in line temp gauge on mine for accurate reading Not just hot/cold Best feature for me Carl
