Hi, My sons bought himself a project 350R with a seized engine, and I have been tasked with the engine rebuild. Took the top end off easy enough- probably too easy and looks like the cases have had water sitting inside seizing the crank solid but now I can’t remove the flywheel, can thread the puller in easy enough, but broke the first one! new one here but still not shifting. is it possible to split the cases with the flywheel on? Can you undo/remove the stator bolts so the cases come apart or have to cut the flywheel apart.

I was 25 and bought mine after only having a C90 then TS125 that was stolen but the first time I rode it and had the front wheel up with out trying!!! OMG still remember it now. Then ride to work bike, ‘fixed’ sloppy gear change with insulating tape -didn’t last long—lol Dave

I do know I can’t get any warmth in the house! Previous years ‘front’ room would be cosy. Is it too cold, boiler needs replacing or just me getting old!

I used silicone wire when I done mine, much more flexible when trying to thread it through the stator plate, but just regular solder with gas soldering iron on lower setting.

I understand what UK buyers are saying but once you’ve done it once it’s OK,overseas can’t comment but would agree it’s a harder but the one thing you are getting is the bloke knows what his doing. I reckon if he had to pay add to basket he would need to pay them ,pickers, dispatchers customer service All people need paying and that costs, Cottage industry to me one bloke trying to make a livid No doing what he does best. Once again me drinking beer spouting nothing I know about. +1 for Norbo

Lovely neat numbers but I know mine are stamped on ‘ribs’ I wouldn’t know but if your capable of filing the ribs off so nicely then your probably OK stamping numbers back on. Just what I can see
