I don’t want to f anything up. I need to replace the bearing on the drum, but can’t get the star off the drum...
Any tips?
I took off the screw already, which was a b*****d...

I used a little 2 leg puller to get mine off, fiddly balancing it all together,it’s not real tight on there. Then there’s the clip to remove

You can gently tap the star with a hammer and wooden drift, working your way around the circumference of the star. They can be a tight fit. It's easy to chip the sharp edge of the central bolt housing, so easy does it Dusty

Got er off. Seems the grinding gritty feel I was getting from the bearing may not have been the bearing itself. The drum bearing surface is quite worn.
Change your oil!
