There will be a bit of an interlude as I fathom out how to make an offset sprocket to suit, Machine some lock stops and source handlebar controls, rear brake master cylinder, front brake discs and hydraulic lines all round.

Looking at the above pic on a big screen I think actually I may need to try and pull in the rear sprocket first.
The laser is the centreline of the rear sprocket as positioned with some toolmakers clamps, a parallel & a slip gauge. The rear wheel is centralised and I set the chain adjustment blocks by Vernier to be sure it was all as square as is possible.
Chain line looks a bit close to the frame for my liking..

Better to have the chain as inboard as possible, as the further out the front sprocket is, the more the load on the front sprocket bearing.

If you get stuck with frame/chain issues you can try a DID VT2 or whatever the new name is for that chain, its a thinner version of an X ring 520 that KTM use for off road bikes so its lighter as well, it can save a good few mm.

Funnily enough I did compare the chain on my RS250 that sits next to the LC for exactly that reason, so this is a good shout thank you. I've ordered a couple of 17T JT Sprockets that have tapped holes in and a parallel hole for some reason, so I'll look to stack those and can then machine, weld etc to suit. If I don't like the end result I'll think again. Maybe a longer output shaft? LC needs to vacate the workbench for a while, so I'll reassemble it all for now and leave it to have a think...

You make me feel pathetic with what stuff I do on machines π€£
I thought with an RGV wheel it should just be a 9mm offset sprocket, the LC spacer and a 3mm clutch basket thrust washer π€

I will second the opinion of Rob, i'm pretty sure i ordered M10 temperature sensors from Koso No that's wrong it's definately not metric as ive just had a few in my hands as i was looking for an M10 x1.00 temperature sensor.

In anticipation of continued grief with fuel height I ordered these a while back and had forgotten all about it until now. Should be able so see whatβs going on in there. Hopefully it wonβt catch fire!!π
