Wow that is an eye catcher. That bike looks amazing. I would like to see this one and the bike from Veg side by side. I love this style of paintwork. Well done.

Cheers guys, I have to say its far beyond my initial intention, all of the ideas and inspiration has come from the bikes on this forum, so credit to everyone else really is needed.
To anyone else thats not done a build, its just another learning curve, as ive said im not an engineer or mechanic but just taking time and studying some of the great threads on here has really helped. One piece of advice I would give would be, this has cost me a lot more because I have essentially started from scratch and boy do all the bits add up. That taken into account also means that the bike is essentially new. I have also had to invest in tools that sometimes i have only used once or twice.
I cant wait to get it fired up now!!

I also want to mention that this is a build, simply putting bits together, it really is a lot more impressive to see some of the builds on here where folk actually make stuff.... well beyond me, hats off you guys

I think the paint scheme is one of the best I've ever seen. The bike looks awesome, with every detail perfectly chosen. Don't undersell yourself - superb work.
Cheers, Mark

Outstanding piece of work, and that paint job !!!!!!!!! Cant wait to see it with the pipes fitted. You must be well chuffed with your efforts here Very pleased, its been so much more effort than I anticipated, and cost!! Just made my final Norbo order, and the last piece of the project ....Pipes. Im debating a few options, biggest decision either GP - single side or a pipe each side? Any thought opinion welcomed

Hi Nick
The bike looks fantastic mate honestly! As for pipes I would definitely go with one each side personally I don’t think GP style suit the LC really, but that’s just me.
Cheers Gaz

Looking forward to the finished result One pipe each side for me too. Looks more balanced from an aesthetics point of view, imo Ultimately, go with what YOU want Dusty

So where did your inspiration for the colour scheme come from? I see that you say you took inspiration from various sources?

So where did your inspiration for the colour scheme come from? I see that you say you took inspiration from various sources? I saw yours and really liked it, its a great colour scheme. Mark did say he had done a few like that so it certainly not unique. Sorry if this has upset you, which it appears it has from the posts above, but this forum is about getting ideas and if you read even this thread people have said they will copy ideas from this bike. As others have said, i'd take it as a compliment that someone likes that colour scheme. TBH im surprised it hasnt been copied sooner, I saw it almost a year ago

I was taking the pee buddy I have had loads of people ask me about it and I have shared all the information freely and gladly. It is a compliment and I have been clear that my bike is influenced by pb in the 80s and I have ripped them off There isn’t anything new or unique in our bikes eg mine Tz top end done before mechanical anti dive done before hybrids done before. You definitely haven’t upset me 😀
