these were a mess to start with but thanks to the lathe to rid the marks and the powdercoat they are now mintier than a big bag of mint bits.

many hours of sanding powdercoated areas that weren't masked. that was a tw@ to put the seals in. new stainless fittings with plenty of copper slip. can now rebuild forks. disappointed with finish on frame after blast and coat so off for filling and spray paint. 2 day turnaround and frame done and happy days. Pick black powdercoat parts up tomorrow, just got to chase seat cover and order brake lines.

CDI back from yellow passivate and reg from vapour blast, bit anal as you don't see them but hey ho. Stripped original flasher unit and hid LED unit inside it.

Having widened the frame this cover wouldn't fit so it's been trimmed down and painted.

Got flagged up on head being pants so repainted, happier. Brake lines ordered from HEL, fingers crossed here this week they said, Just the seat to sort, embroiderer mentioned this week so get that to upholsterer and maybe just maybe MOT next week?

I would not of picked that colour scheme myself, although oddly any combination of two of the colours I might of.
However, the overall look of the bike is very good indeed. I think the only marmite bit of the bike is the paintwork. BUT that's just my opinion, which counts for nothing as it's your bike.
Well done for making an X7 look desirable IMO. I would never have even given that model a look until I saw this. Credit to you.
