Not the end of the world but a couple of days ago I had to put regular E10 petrol whilst out on a ride...eek! So I will be heading out today to get rid of it on a ride and replacing with super unleaded

More fettling and had a ride of 35 miles on both of my 80's Yamahas to do a back to back for Manx GO duties.
The EXUP is excruciatingly uncomfortable although is as fast as you like with such a lovely motor. TT bubble disguises a minging fairing and the rack to math the LC's rack..
I bet I still hop on the GSA when the time comes to pack and go.

Fit a master cylinder repair kit to try and get rid on the sponginess. Went thru almost a bottle of Dot-5. Tried all the tricks. Left overnight zip-tied, bled from ALL the banjo bolts…Better but not great. I’ve got Dot-5 in the Mars Bar and YPVS and it’s great- so, no, not that. Will try it out in the wild and if it’s not really better then maybe replace the OEM MC. Stick a big syringe on the caliper bleed nipple and suck the fluid through. Did it on the R1 calipers on my 900F and it worked a treat.....lever is rock solid! 😁👍

Fitted my blue kit back on my LC. Went for a ride to a local bike meet. Big cheeseburger and chips for £4 :-)
I also did some more work on number 14 when I came back.

Last Monday was the first time in a long time where I had nothing planned to do. So I visited Pieter from PS Tuning. It was supposed to be his day off and it turned into a small group of people just having a bit of banter. This engine was dropped off for adjustment and fitting of the rotary valve. It’s a new 50 cc engine pumping out 20.7 pk. The free tech racers are really proud of every little bit of power behind the point as well. The owner of this engine is still developing it but he was 3rd in last year’s championship. Then Gerard was there to collect his new to him Honda with an 18 pk 50 cc engine. This is the old engine from the racer mentioned above. All I can say is wow that bike shifts even with a grown up on it. This picture shows the size a little better

Nothing with the ones I have but had a nice trip to Shropshire to pick another engine up. Low mileage F1 and it will still be stripped to check everything and replace seals and anything else that needs doing. The guy had a very interesting LC in his man cave it had a cbr400 front end and an fzr400 back end. The really interesting part was the engine as it had an Rd350 air cooled top end reversed. He says it goes very well.

Went for ride on the lc2 and my clutch cable snapped 🤯, got home and stripped it down and replaced it, whilst it was apart I put the internal snorkel and std filter support back, the noise was doing my ears in, now to re-jets etc….

I'm utterly gutted that I'm selling, but after a stupid fall off it 6 months ago and a smashed kneecap, I've had to agree with the wife that I'm not as good a rider as I once was. Not good enough to ride an LC safely anyway. I did enjoy doing it up, so at some point I want to get a really mashed LC and do trick it up into something special, but for now my riding days are over. The few months I had riding it were brilliant and I don't regret a thing.
